As usual, I have a hard time making lists so don't pay too much attention to the rankings and just read what I have to say.

12. Brave
If you've known me over a an ago, you'd know that I'm not much of a Pixar fan. Yes, I know I'm an awful person for discriminating between animation studios and this is Pixar we're talking about. So yeah, I'm guessing this is why I can't get into Rebelle no matter how hard I try, considering it's also one, if not, my least favori Pixar movie.

11. The Princess and the Frog
I've had issues with Tiana in the past because of her inconsistent morals that gets shoved into other people's face. Although now, I no longer hold it against her and just put her movie at fault. Not to mention the frog scenes drag on, the score is uninspiring, etc. etc. etc. So yeah while I have a lot of problems with this movie, it's still decent IMHO, just not on par with other DP movies.

10. Cinderella
Like most of you, I go through re-watching Disney films several times but I just can't seem to do that with Cendrillon one plus time because not much excitement is present in this movie. Though it's still a timeless classic that makes toi root for the main character the whole way through.

9. Sleeping Beauty
With Tchaikovsky Waltz and detailed traditional animation, Sleeping Beauty is in fact an artistic masterpiece. So if toi don't montrer some sort of appreciation for this movie, it automatically means toi have unrefined taste. Well, here I am putting it low on my list, I just have issues with most of the characters and the slow pacing of this movie.

8. Pocahontas
I can understand why Pocahontas was blamed for being the cause of its following Disney movies' lack of success. And I'm not only talking about the historical inaccuracies, which are, a little insulting when toi think about it. This movie is often described as dull and irrational and I can see where people are coming from. Despite ''all the flaws''... the killer soundtrack, moving scenes and awesome characters like Wiggins make this movie a winner in my book.

7. Beauty and the Beast
While I 100% see why people started taking animated films as plus than just kids' stuff after watching Beauty and the Beast, I don't believe it is plus of a perfect movie than some of the other DP movies. I'm sorry, I really like this movie but I'm not about to put it on a pedestal. What I l’amour most is how it has underlying messages under the clear good moral of this story.

6. Tangled
I adore the unique storytelling, the allegories and the theme of Tangled. It might not be one of my favorites, maybe because it started an Era I'm not crazy about (safe profitable CGI movies). But it does generally have good songs, characters and is just global, ensemble a really smart movie where everything is well-thought-out about.

5. Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Walt was trying to see how well he could animate with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs so this movie is mostly filler. But toi know what? All of the scenes are well done and it's a part of its charm. Sometimes I gotta appreciate simplicity.

4. Frozen
This may ou may not be true about you, but La Reine des Neiges hype seems to affect most people, either good ou bad. I don't believe it deserves the praise for being anything groundbreaking but I do enjoy watching this movie countless times and chant along to the songs with my peers. Yeah yeah, we could go on on how this isn't a plot hole-free movie but regardless, it's a movie that makes me happy.

3. Aladdin
Aladin was one of my favori Disney films when I was younger so nostalgia does play a part. It's very much a product of its time but that's just the thing, the 90s were the best. Arabian Nights is a mysterious intro that starts making me feel excited to watch the movie and the rest of the film keeps me entertained non-stop.

2. The Little Mermaid
The Little Mermaid gets to the feels, I don't know how the main titles and the happy ending can make me shed a tear, that doesn't even make any sense. It has loving characters that are a lot plus layered than donné credit for. This movie just shows toi whatever your eyes want to see, gives toi whatever your emotions want to feel and just has every aspect of Disney magic in it.

1. Mulan
Mulan is the Disney movie that gets me the most emotionally involved. It just seems to have the whole package, it's action-packed and entertaining. The timeless humor, admirable characters and significant scenes that can tug at my heartstrings make this my favori DP movie.

 I'm finally getting praised... Perfect
I'm finally getting praised... Perfect
Everyone here knows me to be the Shan Yu fan (Probably the biggest on this spot) with the unpopular opinion that Shan Yu is the best Disney Princess villain and the seconde best Disney villain. I am always asked why, so I decided to make this article giving a lot of the reasons why I have this opinion. I know a lot of toi will probably not read this all the way through, but if toi do, I was not holding a dictionary as I was écriture this, I just got very serious on this topic.

So I hope toi like it

When the term Disney villain comes to mind, people usually think of Scar, Ursula, Maleficent,...

Overdone? Maybe. Needed? Strongly so.

So, maybe some of toi don't know, but I'm strongly annoyed when users criticize the Clasic Princesses for reasons I think are invalid. These reasons are:

1. Weakness
2. Anti-Feminists
3. Passiveness
4. They're Mary-Sues (have no flaws)

These are the lovely ladies I'm going to defend - Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora. Art not par me.
These are the lovely ladies I'm going to defend - Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora. Art not par me.

In this article, I'll explain why these arguments are invalid. Now, I'll warn you, you'll probably disagree (or agree, depending of what is your view in the classics) a lot with this article. If toi don't respect opinions that...

Sorry guys, but I’m just getting frustrated with this. So I’m just going to give my honest, harsh opinions and thoughts. I definitely have a problem with the way all the princesses have been redesigned, but I have to wonder why it is Merida is being singled out for criticism and not any of the others.

First of all, I’ve got to say I don’t see some of the issues people are taking with her redesign. Well, two specifically. The first is this supposedly “sexual pose” in her redesign that is mentioned in this picture:

Here are the two poses she is commonly seen in with her new design:...

Sorry it's long. I have a lot of beliefs about these three to respond to! May get preachy!

I really hate all the hate the old princesses get, especially Snow White. She has a lot plus personality than she is donné credit for (more than many of the récent heroines have, too). she’s got a sassy sense of humor, she’s unbelievably emotionally strong despite the horrible abuse and near murder she went through twice (the victim blaming she and Cendrillon get is rather disgusting and hypocritical), she never gave up hope about meeting her l’amour again, she didn’t need to run around chasing boys...

 Typical Merida photo.
Typical Merida photo.
This is my personal liste of the prettiest Disney princesses. Again, this is just an opinion and their is no right ou wrong.I will also be rating the princesses in a mark I find fair (out of 10)

11) Merida (Brave)
I think her round face is what bothers me the most. It looks just like a big,fat circle, although her freckles fit her quite well. Her hair looks like she hasn't brushed it in year. And no, I'm not saying curls are ugly, but I think hers has too many volume.Don't get me wrong, she is pretty but she can't compare to other princesses.
Rate: 4

10) Mulan (Mulan)
I think Mulan is pretty too,...
