Well, I've noticed recently, that people have been talking about the animation of the Disney Princess films recently, plus so the difference between 2D and CGI Disney Princess movies, as well as some other things.

Most seem to think 2D is better. Well, plus than most, almost all actually. I too l’amour the 2D animation from the Disney Princess movies, it looks great, especially in some of the movies, however, I think people are starting to overrate the 2D movies, at least on fanpop.

Outside of fanpop, the matter is completely different. The CGI films are loved and praised par many, especially young children. They have donné Disney the most success, and the reviews for their CGI (Disney Princess) movies, are mostly solid. So.. It sounds like the CGI films are overrated outside of fanpop right? Well, yep, kind of at the least.

However, with fanpop, it's a different story. On here, a lot of people here grew up watching films like "Cinderella" "Beauty and the Beast" "The Little Mermaid" "Mulan" and others. So, we can put nostalgia up there as well, montrer how most of us grew up as young kids watching 2D Disney Films, not the CGI ones. Well, nostalgia plays a part in why toi may like the 2D films better, whether you've noticed that ou not. You'll always have a soft spot for the films that have the animation style of your favorite, ou the movie toi grew up watching over and over again.

Many people also consider 2D films to have plus "realistic" animation. Well, this really depends on which one you're talking about. There are some Disney Princesses, like Mulan, that actually look like real teenagers. Others? Just not quite as much. Now to CGI. Do these films have realistic character designs? Well, some of them don't exactly look like real people, and many characters have exaggerated features. Take Kristoff's huge nose for example. Well, in our minds, it's actually easier to relate to characters that are plus realistic looking. So, is that why people relate to Mulan so much plus than Elsa? Well, partly, that and the part that Mulan has a larger character development.

But, is character design ALL that toi look for in a Disney Princess movie? Well, I sure hope not. There are things like plot, characters, and development that come to mind. I honestly don't think any of the Disney Princess films fully miss the mark when it comes to that, even Frozen, which I have ranted on about the characters before.

Next, overrating. Many people tend to dislike La Reine des Neiges just because it is overrated. If it didn't get any attention, would people like it more? In my opinion, the answer is yes. It will have its haters, but there definitely wouldn't be as many hate rants as there were before. Many people tend to dislike La Reine des Neiges for being overrated, and then praise The Princess and the Frog, because it didn't get as much attention. Many people think the hand-drawn films are better because they got less attention. But, when toi think about it, the hand-drawn films get tons of attention too. It's just that our minds tend to overlook it, because our favoris tend to be hand-drawn movies.

Overall, does the animation REALLY matter most in a movie? Nope. It's like judging a book par it's cover. Looking at a trailer and saying "This is CGI, why bother watching it?" is basically judging a book par it's cover, just in a movie's case. It's okay to dislike a CGI movie, but reasons are better than just saying "CGI just can't compare to 2D." How is that proving your point at all? And how can people agree with toi for listing no point? Nostalgia, the look of the animation, the character designs.. Those are the first things that come to mind. But then, toi should think again. What about plot, what about character development? That's what's really important after all.

Anyways, what are your opinions on this? Do toi think that 2D is better than CGI, ou reversed? Why do toi think one is better?

Hola! I already wrote my updated DP movie list, if toi haven't read it yet, here's the link. link. So, I rewatched the DP films and my opinions on the princesses have changed so here is my updated list. The number in the parenthesis is where that princess used to be on my list. I genuinely don't dislike any princess but I don't l’amour them all either so I also placed the princesses in groups according to how much I like them.

Neutral Liking
These are the girls that I do like but just don't find myself super interested in. So my feelings towards them are kind of neutral.
I'm sorry Cindy, you're nice and all but you're not really my type but maybe if toi keep believing your dream of making my haut, retour au début 5 will come true (yeah right, doubt it).
I'm sorry Cindy, you're...

I've been on fanpop since 2010 but I took a 2 an break. I made a liste a couple of years il y a but I thought I'd update it. I've included Anna and Elsa.

13. Aurora

I think that Aurora is one of the prettiest princesses, but I find her to have no personality. I do not like her film ou her chant voice either.

12. Merida

I like Merida's personality, but I don't really see her as one of the princesses. Maybe it's the Pixar influence, but I think of her plus as a Disney characters rather than a Disney princess.

11. Snow White

I l’amour the Snow White film, but I dislike her as a character. She is very bland...

I would change my name to Jasmine.
It's a fleur and is a beautiful name, I also like the abbreviation of it.

I would want to have Tiana's cooking skills.
Food is life! Sure it'd be cool to know martial arts ou know how to shoot arrows. But sometimes, all I really want to do is eat. I wouldn't say I'm a bad cook but I'm still in the learning process. Cajun nourriture is delicious and I don't know how to make it.

I would want Fa Zhou as my parent.
My father has been a bit absent in my life these past years. Though Fa Zhou reminds me a lot of my grandpa. Plus, my grandpa had tasks to complete in the...

This is my first article on this website, so I thought I'd start with my opinions on how I feel about each one! I had a little bit of a hard time ranking them because I just really l’amour them all so much!! I suppose it's because one of my college english professors thought they were all horrible role models, so I always feel the need to defend them all because all her reasons are based off of things that never happened in the movie. I also wanted to stay pretty positive for the most part because I feel like they get enough hate already.

13. Surprise, surprise...Aurora's at the bottom. However...
