I held this same countdown not too long il y a and I really wanted to chime in with my own opinion on the matter. I think all of the princesses montrer at least some strength emotionally, so I decided I couldn't rank them! Anyways I hope toi enjoy lire this! Also, my definition of emotional strength might be different from your own. After lire some of the descriptions in people's liste for the countdown I realized that not everyone has a similar definition. ((the princesses are in a totally aléatoire order, sorry that this article is such a mess...))

jasmin

Jasmine's emotional strength is underrated. jasmin has had to live in isolation her entire life, much longer than Anna, yet doesn't get nearly the credit she deserves. I think people seem to ignore the fact that jasmin lived without friends, life choices being made for her, and constant supervision because her tough and seemingly unaffected personality hides that. Despite Jasmine's tough personality, I'm sure her growing up and way she did affected her plus than she lets on, and possibly shaped her into the strong woman she is.

Ariel

Ariel shows immense strength as well, which also seems to go unnoticed. She's lived her entire life not fitting in to a society that forces her to hate the very thing that she adores, to be happy and content with the life she dreads, and to marry a nice little merman that she has no interest whatsoever in. It seems that most seem to forget all of that and instantly label Ariel's actions as selfish and childish, when really her life was being decided for her and her father was forcing her into a life she didn't feel she belonged in.

Belle

Belle takes the place of staying in the château for her father. Belle takes the place of staying in the château for her father!! That alone shows just how much emotional strength Belle possesses, but there's plus too it than that. Belle's one desire is to get out of her boorish, provincial town, but she's stayed there anyway to help her father. Belle's devotion to her father is definitely one of my favori things about her.

Merida

Merida, like Ariel and Jasmine, is forced to live a life of rules and expectations, constant supervision, tweaking, and critiquing, and worse of all, she's forced to live a life that forces her to be something she's not. All her life her mother has taught her what is right and what is wrong for a lady, that there is nothing in between, all her life she has been told to not be who she really is. Also, Merida was willingly going to marry one of the suitors when she was giving her speech towards the end to mend the fighting before Elinor showed her, which showed a lot of emotional strength.

Rapunzel

Rapunzel has lived in an abusive accueil her entire life, whether she knows it ou not, it's still an abusive household. Mother Gothel has constantly insulted her her entire life, yet still she keeps an optimistic temperament, similar to Snow and Cinderella. On haut, retour au début of that, she's also lived in isolation, which might seem to not be THAT big of a deal, and many princesses share that similarity, but think if toi were in a situation where the toi had no one toi could interact with, no one toi could share your feelings with. She also shows so much strength in standing up to Gothel after all those years.

Aurora

Aurora's strength is also underrated in my opinion. She too has lived in isolation her entire life, yet remains cheerful about the situation. Also, at the young age of sixteen, Aurora's entire life is revealed to be a lie to her, her name, her age, the fact that she's a princess! She ends up leaving the one rayon, ray of sunshine that she's found in her dull life in a long time, Phillip, to fulfill her duty and marry a man that she's never even met and be emerged into a lifestyle completely foreign to her. Yes, Aurora cries! Does that make her weak? No! It makes her human.

Cendrillon

Cendrillon is no doubt known as one of the strongest princesses, and it's of course justified. Whether toi believe Cendrillon is passive ou a doormat is a personal matter, but no one can disagree that Cendrillon showed so much strength in putting up with her step family for all those years. I think the thing that adds insult to injury in Cinderella's case is the fact that she's seen the other side, she's seen what is was like to be happy, to have a father who loved her, but then that was all taken away from her. Instead of letting her situation get to her, she remains forever hopeful and kind.

Elsa

There seems to be a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to Elsa's strength, in which I say?!?!? I think people mistaken Elsa's vulnerability as weakness, when really it just shows she's human. Although Elsa wants to be with Anna just as much as Anna wants to be with Elsa, she keeps herself away. When Anna says that she wishes things could go back to how they used to be, toi can see the hurt in Elsa's eyes and how she wishes that too, but she can't because she has to protect herself from Anna. Also, Elsa was left in her room alone to suffer. She didn't have Anna's optimism that someday things would get better, she had the idea that she was a monster who hurt her precious sister and that's all she's ever going to be.

Tiana

Tiana has had to deal with dig after dig after dig, people putting her down, telling her that her dream will never be accomplished, that it's impossible, but what does she do? She keeps trying. She's extremely resilient and the fact that she's basically doing this plus for her father than for herself in my opinion just makes it all the stronger. Besides the work aspect, Tiana had to live in a time where she was most likely extremely discriminated and looked down on, as both a woman and a person of color, but she defies all odds.

Mulan

She takes the spot of her father in war. She takes the spot of her father in war!! This in and of itself is self-explanatory, but the fact that Mulan tries so hard to please her parents, even before this, really displays her strength. I can tell that Mulan could care less about finding a man to marry from the matchmaker, possibly is even opposed to the idea, but she does so anyway for the sake of bringing her family honor. Time and time again she thinks less about her own desires and plus about others, which also shows a great deal of strength.

Anna

This girl is strong as heck. Her sister, the one person she loved most, suddenly shuts her out, and unlike Elsa, Anna has no idea why. She thinks that it's her fault and it becomes her burden. Then, later, when she has to deal with the death of her parents, her own sister won't even mourn with her. The fact that Anna could keep her optimism and cheer and not grow angry towards Elsa is amazing. Although Elsa continually shuts her out the entire movie, she never once gives up. Also, she gives up her life for Elsa. Okay, she didn't end up dying, but she believed 100% that she was going to when she stepped in for Elsa.

Pocahontas

Pocahontas seemingly lives the most normal life of all the Disney Princesses in my opinion, but that doesn't mean she doesn't also montrer strength. Although Pocahontas and John's relationship is often seen as little plus than a fling, I think the fact that it could've been that, but isn't is what shows Pocahontas's strength. Pocahontas didn't have to get involved with the warring sides of her tribe and lover, but she did so anyway. Also, Pocahontas making the decision to stay in Jamestown for the better of her people was such an extremely strong and selfless thing to do that it deserves plus credit.

Snow White

Saving the best for last, in my opinion. Snow shows so much strength it seriously baffles me when people call her weak. Weak because she cries for about five secondes after almost being killed? That's the definition of strength in my book. Snow has almost been killed, is now homeless and knows that someone is out there looking to still kill her, yet instead of crying crazily, she apologizes to a bunch of animaux for scaring them. I MEAN COME ON. She's just such a bundle of optimism and joy despite her terrible childhood and her strength just shines through her brightly.

Sooo, that's my article! This was extremely fun to write and it made me happy to talk about the princesses purely positively for once, so thanks for lire and I hope toi enjoyed! :) ..I shouldn't have been so lazy and I should have ordered this better and added pictures, but alas, it's the first jour of spring break and I just wanted to write this.
Hi, y'all! I hope toi enjoyed the article I posté last, and I hope you'll enjoy plus in the future!

Today's article will be about both versions of Beauty And The Beast.

The characters:

(Before I begin, I just want to say as much as I l’amour the characters, I might not be able to include them all, but, I'll try my best to give them a mention ou two. If I leave out a character toi love, my sincerest apologies in advance.)

Belle:

I have to be honest, I thought both versions were just outstanding. One thing I liked about the live-action Belle, though, is her bravery. (I.E. When she tried to escape after...

Hey, y'all! Welcome to my first article of this series! I'll be talking about each detail from both a tradionally animated film AND a live-action one. Keep in mind, while I'm happy to give my input on a majority of these films, some I'm going to have to mentally prepare for in the meantime. But let's not go further into that. Let's get on with the show.

Today's article will be about both versions of Aladdin.

The characters:

The character development for each character is well done. I'm not going to lie about that quality, but I'd like to point out afew things about the flaws.

Aladdin:

Yet another Mary Sue test. This time, it's Esmeralda. She's very similar to Belle, who scored surprisingly low. Let's see if she's as perfect on the inside as she is on the outside.

Unique traits without contacts ou hair dye- Sort of. Green eyes aren't impossible in WOC, but they are plus unique, and her eyes are drawn in a very striking and eye-catching way. Though it is just to justify her name. .5
An odd name- 'Esmeralda' is definitely a unique (though also very pretty) name. 1.
Looks constantly commenté on- Yes. She even uses her appearance as a weapon. 1.
Always the hero- No, she has to be...

I'm not strictly doing these in chronological order, it's just a coincidence that I chose Ariel next. toi might think Ariel isn't a Mary Sue because of her obvious flaws that a lot people hate her for, but I think she still could be. Mary Sues can have flaws (hence why that trait doesn't just say "No flaws" and nothing else). So let's see.

Unique traits without contacts ou hair dye- Sort of. Red hair is common enough, but her shade of red definitely isn't. .5
An odd name- Sort of. 'Ariel' is common enough par mermaid standards, but she's the only one of her siblings with a name not ending...

Hello! I haven't written an article for a month. But still today I will analyze Ariel. Before I begin, I must thank Genevievebarbie. Thank toi very much, toi wrote very nice things about me in your "meet Disney princess fans" post. 🧡.

We pass to the article. As I a dit before, I will analyze Ariel, her behavior, appearance, etc.

Ariel is such a sweet girl, and yes, my least favori princess, but I can't deny that she's also cute. We better start with Ariel's Appearance... Because I have very good commentaires about the appearance of this princess.

1- Appearance
Ariel has long red hair that ripples...

Hello everyone! Sorry the article is so late getting up this year. I was busy with the holidays, then work and then I got sick. It just seemed like one thing after another kept coming up. So again, I apologize, and at least it's up now.

Anyway, before we get started let me give toi a brief run down of the Meet the DP fans articles, in case toi happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar with them. These articles have been done in past par a few other users to showcase some of the current Disney Princess fans. Now, obviously, there are many other members in this club, besides the ones listed...

You can find the lyrics of all the songs Elsa sings here..

For The First Time İn Forever Lyrics

Anna: The window is open, so's that door
I didn't know they did that anymore
Who knew we owned 8000 salade plates?

For years I've roamed these empty halls
Why have a ballroom with no balls?
Finally, they're opening up the gates

There'll be actual, real live people
It'll be totally strange
But wow am I so ready for this change!

'Cause for the first time in forever
There'll be music, there'll be light
For the first time in forever
I'll be dancing through the night

Don't know if I'm elated ou gassy
But I'm somewhere...

Well, I have to say that this topic is very upsetting to me. I have never seen the movie Mulan as an insult to my nation. But it was. Although I can speak English, Russian and Spanish as well as Turkish, I am originally Azerbaijani and Turkish. And at this point I realize that Shan Yu is actually Turkish. Look. The first known Turkish State is the Asian Hun State and they are also known as "Huns" which is the nation of Shan Yu's army. Moreover, the Chinese built the Great mur of China to protect their homeland from the attacks of the Turks. I searched on the internet and it turned out that...

 I l’amour HER!
I LOVE HER!
My liste of favori Disney Princesses has undergone a slight change. Moreover, this time I will start from 12, not 10.

12- Merida
The only princess I hate is Merida. Actually, she was one of my favori princesses for a while, but as I got older, I started to dislike her. And right now Merida is at the worst place on my list.
Merida fans: Crying
Those who don't like Merida: Happy
I don't like Princess Merida because she thinks illogically and ruins her life despite her mother's efforts.

11- Aurora
Well Aurora is a much loved princess and I know toi adore her but I... I don't like her very much. She...

I believe in l’amour at first sight, but it sounds ridiculous and isn't exactly love. l’amour at first sight often happens with classic princesses:
1- Snow White
2- Cinderella
3- Ariel

These princesses fall in l’amour the first time they see it, but that's ridiculous because toi can't fall in l’amour with someone you've just seen. Actually, that might be it, but it just depends on the prince being handsome. Snow White fell in l’amour with her prince the moment she saw him, and that was just for the prince's appearance. That's why I don't like l’amour at first sight in DP movies.

In Frozen, one of my favori Disney...

10- Princess Mulan
Just being in the bottom of my list, doesn't make her VERY ugly. How can I say she is just... Less prettiest. I l’amour her black hair and her eyes are pretty OK for me, but her eyebrows... They are very thick especially when she becomes a boy.
Also, her eyebrows are raised a lot higher than they should be, which makes her pretty ugly.

9- Princess Merida
I just adore the color and curve of her hair. But her face and eyes are too round. Especially her eyes. OMG, her eyes are like some strange balls. Her smile isn't ugly, but her teeth are very small.

8- Princess Esmeralda

Hello Disney Princess Fans!

First let me apologize for being so bit late getting the article up this time, and explain what happened. Along with the business of the holiday season there was a family emergency. In mid-January my Dad came down with Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized for over a week. Fortunately he's back accueil and doing better now. But as toi can imagine I didn't feel much like writing, nor did I have the time while that was going on.

Anyway, before we get started let me give toi a brief run down of the Meet the DP fans articles, in case toi happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar...
