This is the tenth article in my "Why I Love.." series and it's for Rapunzel! Rapunzel is a great princess and I hope I can do her the justice she deserves. I hope toi enjoy lire this!!

Rapunzel isn't one of my favoris really, in fact she's in my bottom three, but that doesn't mean I still don't really l’amour her a lot. If you've been here for a while, you'll know that Rapunzel was actually my favori princess for a few months, and before that she was always either seconde ou third on my list, but sadly all she's done is drop overtime. Despite her dropping, one of my favori attributes of Rapunzel still has to be her insecurity. I l’amour seeing vulnerability in characters, and insecurity has always been an interesting characteristic of a princess to me. One prime example of this is when Rapunzel is scared to give Eugene the crown because she thinks that he'll run away from her and he only really wants her for the crown. Gothel has almost brainwashed her into believing whatever she says and I find that to be really interesting and I wish the movie expanded on it more. She tries so hard to get others to like her and is always trying to impress others it seems.

Another thing I l’amour about Rapunzel is her intelligence. I think that Rapunzel's intelligence is extremely underrated and doesn't get the credit that it deserves. Not only does Rapunzel learn how to chart the stars, red, make candles, and plus without anyone else's teaching, she also displays her intelligence and quick thinking in her actions. A good example of her quick thinking is when she's trying to tell Gothel about Eugene being in the wardrobe, but realizes that doing that will only make Gothel angrier, so she changes her plan to asking for paint instead and ends up calling the lights "stars" even though she doesn't believe that. It's a small detail, but it's always made an impact on me for some reason. Rapunzel also knows how to use her strengths to her advantage, namely her kindness and lovableness.

Rapunzel's strength is also another thing that I l’amour about her. She's such a strong princess, both emotionally and physically, and should get plus credit for that. The fact that she can survive Gothel's everyday insults and putting her down (the mirror, namely), but still keep her optimistic temperament is a wonder in and of itself. Even after finding out that Eugene has (seemingly) left her, she doesn't break down and cry, but she keeps it together, which shows so much strength to me. These examples make me believe that Rapunzel might suppress some of her emotions, just like Snow White, which I find extremely interesting. Rapunzel's strength is also of course shown in her standing up to Gothel in the end, which leads to my suivant point.

The character development that Rapunzel goes through in the movie is absolutely phenomenal. The somewhat ditsy, perky, insecure little girl that we saw at the beginning of the film who seemed all fun and games transforms into a strong, independent, comfortable woman. Despite her character development into a stronger, plus active character, she still keeps her sweet, caring personality that we've grown to love. The scene where Rapunzel finally confronts Gothel and says my favori line in the film, "Did I stutter mother? ou should I even call toi that?" I can't help but get this triumphant feeling that Rapunzel has finally conquered her fears and truly transformed.

Besides all of this, I of course l’amour Rapunzel's neverending sweetness, kindness and optimism, all three traits I admire a lot. She's extremely kind to everyone she meets and although she's lived a sheltered lifestyle, doesn't seem to judge anyone based on appearances (the thugs). I l’amour how she was willingly going to give up her freedom for Eugene, which I believed she would've honored, at least for a while, is extremely selfless and brave. Rapunzel's bravery is another aspect I l’amour about her, both emotional bravery that she shows with facing Gothel and the plus conventional ways such as trying to save Eugene.

All and all, Rapunzel is amazing. écriture this article has actually made me realize how much I actually do l’amour her, and I think she might even déplacer up a spot ou two! I've definitely got some problems with her character, but I still nonetheless enjoy her and think she's a very interesting princess in her own right. I hope toi enjoyed lire this and have a great day! :)

(More a "question piece" than an "opinion piece"...commentary will be very helpful for my third and final write-up on Aurora's personality)

I cannot remember if I read this somewhere ou if I misread something about Rapunzel who has three books... but Aurora seems to have 2 books?

Now, if this is correct, then I'm so happy! Partly because it supports my belief that she's educated (=obviously literate) well beyond the regular peasant, but also, makes her all the better of a role model which might make her 2nd fav princess now (Sorry Cindy).

Historically speaking (=14th century, 1300s), she is set...

I saw CRaZy_rawR do an article like this recently and it looked fun so I thought I might try it out :) Anyway let's get started! Also, I'm not including Anna and Elsa in this list, but their wardrobes are definitely two of my favorites!

Snow White: Rags

I absolutely l’amour this dress! I l’amour her other dress as well, but I've always found this dress so charming! I l’amour the color scheme of it, and I l’amour the blue hair-bow she wears with it. I think this dress is beautiful, and if the Queen's job was to hide Snow's beauty in that dress she definitely failed! Although the bottom of the dress looks...

The fearless princess
I wanted to do this for a while, but I wanted to wait until La Reine des Neiges came out before I did. Plus, I have school and tutoring so I really didn't have time. Anyways, here is my long-awaited favori DP list.

13. Merida
Previous Position: 11
*Blows a deep breath* Merida. (Read in same tone as Nostalgia Chick uses when she a dit “Anime” in her haut, retour au début ten hottest animated guys countdown.) I want to like her, I really do. But I just... can't. I dislike Merida. I do admit that she did a great thing at the end: admit that she was bad and selfish and accept responsibility for it. But I honestly don't see...

I l’amour the movie, it was Amazing, Musical, Funny so well animated the graphics where so well detail, their expressions, like if toi where watching real people, mind blowing.
When it comes to the story, i just didn't like the fact that their parents die, same thing with The Princess And The Frog when Tiana's father die.
I felt so sad for Anna and Elsa but mostly Anna, her parents had die and she didn't had no one to talk to in that moment, she had no clue why Elsa was keeping her distance from her. With her parents gone and her only family left rejecting her, she must had felt destroyed.
I Love...

I had my liste perfectly figured out. Then I saw Frozen. Now it has changed again. It's harder now than it was before to place everyone, especially after deciding I l’amour both Anna and Elsa in addition to all my older favorites. My liste could still change again after I think about it even more, but for now here it is.
13. Snow White
Well she dropped back to last again after moving up an impressive two places. (She's always been low on my list.) She just kind of annoys me with her high pitched voice and I've just never been drawn to her like the other princesses. I really don't like her hair either....

Got inspired par dimitri_'s article, I did an article similar to this when I was new to écriture articles here, if toi would like to read it clicklink

Snow White

Like I've a dit so many times before she's my favori Disney Princess. I l’amour how she always makes the best out of a bad situation and that she's both a child and a mother in the movie and how funny she is and her bossy and sassy side. I also l’amour that she's an unjudgemental person

Favorite Outfit: Princess Dress with cape - the cape completes the look and makes the dress less plain looking and it's also my favori animated outfit...
