Since I rewatched all of the DP films from the Classic Era yesterday I decided to write an article about what I think of each of them aswell as the princesses from the films and a little bit about the other characters, my plan is to do this with each era as soon as I've finished watching all DP films from one of the eras (Renaissance Era will be next)
Let's start with the movies:
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs:
As most of toi know this is my favori DP Movie, but it's also my favori movie of all time, I l’amour pretty much everything about this movie, the animation is gorgeous, the songs are all great, the score is almost perfect, I l’amour all the characters in the movie and the story is great. I'm just pointing this out now so I don't need to repeat it later, but in all of the 3 films I'm talking about today my favori character in the movie is the princess so I'll mention my 2nd favori character (and maybe my 3rd favori character) in each movie section. My 2nd favori character in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs is Bashful, he's so adorable
Cinderella:
My opinion on this movie has changed a lot over the years, I used to have this movie as one of my haut, retour au début 3 favori DP films for very long until I rewatched the movie sometime later and it began to déplacer down until it was down at 10th, but after rewatching the movie today it has started to déplacer up a bit and is now my 8th favori DP Movie. The animation is breath taking, the songs are pretty good, the score is okay and the characters are global, ensemble pretty good. My 2nd favori character in Cendrillon is Lucifer, he's one of my favori villain sidekicks. The story is also really good
Sleeping Beauty:
If Cendrillon went from being one of my favori DP films to be one of my least favori DP films this movie has gone the opposite direction, from being one of my least favori DP films (luckily that was before I joined Fanpop) to be one of my favori DP Movies, even though it has moved down from 3rd to 4th after I rewatched the movie today I still l’amour this movie very much, the animation is so detailed, all the songs are great except for one (Skumps), the score is flawless and the characters are okay. My 2nd favori character in Sleeping Beauty is Phillip, he's my favori prince. My 3rd favori character in the movie is the 3 fairies, I can't pick just one favorite, I l’amour all 3 equally
Now I'll talk about the princesses and their beauty
Snow White:
Not only is Snow White my favori Disney Princess, she's also the most beautiful Disney Princess imo. First I'll talk about her personality, her personality is simply amazing, she's both a child and a mother which I find amazing since very few of the other princesses are both. She's also very optimistic especially considering what she had to go through in the movie. I also l’amour that she's both insecure and confident, the other princesses either are one of those ou they are insecure at first and then they become plus confident as their movie progresses. She's also very Rebelle imo especially during the dark forest scene. I also l’amour that she's bossy, in real life bossy people oftenly annoy me, but in films they're interesting to watch. I also l’amour her hidden sassy and sarcastic side and in the deleted bedroom argument scene (search it up on YouTube if toi don't know what I'm talking about) she's also a little bit manipulative. I of course also l’amour that she's sweet and kind and I really l’amour her voice, both her chant and speaking voice.
Now I'll talk about her beauty, I think she's gorgeous, her hair has such a beautiful color and really cute style, her eyes have the most gorgeous shade of brown, her lips have such a beautiful shade of red and her smile is simply adorable
Cinderella:
Despite only being my 7th favori Disney Princess I really l’amour her. She's also 7th on my prettiest Disney Princess List. But first I'll talk about her personality, she has a wonderful personality. I l’amour that she's patient and faithful and hopeful, she believes that dreams can come true if toi keep them a secret. I also l’amour how she's kind to everyone even Lucifer. I l’amour that she's optimistic, despite having to work hard for her stepmother and stepsisters she manages to keep a smile on her face. I also l’amour that she's a little bit sarcastic. Her voice is lovely, it's like honey, both her chant and speaking voice are great, but I prefer her speaking voice because I find her voice to sound slightly softer when she speaks.
Now I'll talk about her beauty, despite being in the middle of my prettiest DP liste I think she's beautiful, her hair is very soft looking, her eyes are a good size, her lips are also a good size and her smile is so beautiful
Aurora:
Normally I'm not a very big fan of pessimistic characters, but Aurora is one of few exceptions, she's my 4th favori DP and she's my 6th prettiest DP so out of the 3 princesses I've talked about today she's the only one to be placed differently on my favori DP liste and my prettiest DP List. Anyway onto her personality, despite her little screentime she has quite a lot of personality, not only is she graceful and elegant, but she's also dreamy, I l’amour that she constantly talks about finding true love. I also l’amour that she's obedient, instead of waiting on Phillip in the cottage she chose to go with the fées back to the château and become a princess. I also l’amour the looks she gives to the fairies, she knows that they're up to something. I also l’amour that she's shy around strangers, when she's with the fées ou her animal Friends she's talking without any problems, but when she's with Phillip she doesn't speak a lot. I also l’amour her playfulness, she doesn't want to be treated like a child, but I think that she's a little bit childlike, but a little bit mature too. I also l’amour that she's a little bit rebellious, but not too much of a rebellion, she tries to rebel a little bit after the fées tells her that she's a princess, very different from the plus modern princesses who has several moments where they rebel. About her voice I really l’amour her voice, both her chant and speaking voice are amazing, but I prefer her chant voice since it's my favori DP chant Voice and I just find her chant to be perfect
Now onto her beauty, I think she's very beautiful, her hair is so beautiful, her eyes have a beautiful color (though it changes throughout the movie), her lips are lovely and her smile is really beautiful
