So yeah, there's gonna be spoilers, so if toi haven't watched it I recommend leaving now. BYE! Anyway, in this review I'll go over the characters, soundtrack, animation, and story line. This review is probably gonna be really positive since I absolutely loved the movie, but I'll try and keep a level head and give some of the bad points in this review as well. So lets get started!

The Characters

Let's start off with the most important thing to me, the characters. A movie's plot can be terrible, but if I'm with a great character during that time, I can endure it, and Frozen's characters definitely don't disappoint.
Anna: I can definitely see the similarities between Anna and Rapunzel; both have big highs, and low lows (more so with Rapunzel), and both are crazy (more so with Anna) Although I feel that Anna is a pretty original character. She's very organic, and is probably one of the most human characters Disney has ever produced; she has quirks, like for example always sliding around the château in her socks, and she is awkward and lovable. At times annoying, she can be too much, but I l’amour her spunk and attitude.
Elsa: Elsa seems to be the étoile, star of the show, and it's obvious why. Disney has never created a character quite like her, and seeing her perspective was a very unique way of looking at things. toi can't help but feel for Elsa in Do toi Want To Build A Snowman when toi see her on the other side in complete snow, obviously so beyond hurt and alone. She's just such a tragic character that really deserved her happy ending. The thing I l’amour about the two main leads is how well they compliment each other, and how much I relate to both of them. Anna is one extreme of me; crazy, awkward, and unrefined. We both desperately wish for more, and are often disappointed, while Elsa is the other extreme of me. The anti-social, alone part of me that doesn't wish to be around anyone. I think it's nice how Disney included a character for both personality types.
Kristoff: Kristoff in my opinion is the best "prince" Disney has ever created. It feels strange calling him a prince because he seems as far from it as possible. He's not conventionally handsome, he's definitely unrefined, he's arguably crazy, and apparently he smells AND picks his nose. Woo, that's a lot. I l’amour how Disney has finally created a totally new character. I don't think I've seen a Kristoff character ever, and it's so refreshing. He's determined, caring, but also a large grump. I was actually going into the movie expecting him to be plus of a gentleman, and I was surprised to see how much of a grump they made him. It's nice to see Disney venture into new personality types.
Hans: Ahh, Hans. Where do I begin? He is arguably the best plot twist Disney ever had, and I absolutely l’amour the scene where he confesses he doesn't l’amour Anna. That was the perfect time for a l’amour Is An Open Door (Reprise) with villain Hans in action, but Disney didn't do it...alas we expect Hans to be a sweet, classic prince, and he plays the part great, but in the end it comes too sudden, with no signs coming of it. Also, he's definitely not the smartest villain Disney's ever come up with, but alas the plot twist just makes me like him a lot!
Olaf: Olaf is great. His comedy is actually pretty funny, not laugh out loud, but better than Raiponce comedy. Mostly thanks to the amazing Josh Gad, who delivers EXCELLENT voice work for him! He's just such a fun character, even if a bit useless (though it's clear he does do things, i.e. points out the staircase, finds Anna, adds comedic relief so the film isn't too tense) Who could've been a terribly annoying presence actually brought some cœur, coeur to the screen, and I'm really glad Disney did that. OH AND I l’amour HOW HE CALLS KRISTOFF SVEN THE ENTIRE TIME BECAUSE THAT SCENE WITH THE DONKEY AND OH MY GOSH.
Sven: Personally I loved Sven! New favori sidekick, not even joking. I didn't see the whole dog thing, just because he does stuff doesn't associate him as a dog! I l’amour how he rolls his eyes at Kristoff's incompetence, and I l’amour how they made him not talk. He was just a great character in my opinion, and I enjoyed him a lot plus than Maximus.
Oaken: OAKEN IS MY LIFE. Erm, excuse me. I'm sorry, but I just loved Oaken. First of all, HE HAD A NORWEGIAN ACCENT, well, not really, but at least Disney tried, and anyone on this club that knows me well enough knows how much I'd l’amour that. His dialogue was great, and although he was only in one scene I really enjoyed him!
Duke of Weselton: Ehh, the only character I didn't really like. They tried to make him funny and it didn't work in my opinion, like idk his crazy dance moves were just annoying in my opinion, and he didn't add much except say dramatic catch phrases. He was just unnecessary and only put in to take the villain attention away from Hans in advertising.

The Soundtrack: I know that not all of toi l’amour the soundtrack, but I l’amour it soooo much! I'll go song par song and say how I feel, but it'll pretty much just me gushing over how good it is.
La Reine des Neiges Heart: I l’amour this song! It's very traditional and similar to the songs at the beginning of Pocahontas and The Little Mermaid. The animation in this song is beautiful, and I l’amour watching baby Kristoff and Sven!
Do toi Want To Build A Snowman?: Another amazing song. It's so heartbreaking, especially towards the end, and Anna's vocals at the end are absolutely beautiful. I l’amour when we get to see Elsa on the other side and it's completely covered with snow and ice; it's just so sad.
For The First Time In Forever: This song is really energetic and fun. I l’amour how Anna finally gets to be free, but it turns heartbreaking when toi get to Elsa and her lyrics, since all she wants is for this jour to be over.
l’amour Is An Open Door: IS THIS NOT THE SWEETEST THING OF ALL TIME ou WHAT. Even though it's amer sweet, since toi know it's with Hans and all, but still. I l’amour how they bump into each other, and how they hide together, and ugh! They're just great, and the song is really catchy. Definitely a favori of mine from the soundtrack.
Let It Go: The power song on the soundtrack, Let it Go is a great song. The lyrics are very empowering and it's nice to see Elsa finally, well, let it go. The animation is great, and the scene is just powerful all around. Though, I feel it may be hyped a bit too high. It's great and all, but I've always enjoyed the plus underrated songs more.
Reindeer Are Better Than People: A short song sung par Kristoff, I though it was great! It's my least favori from the soundtrack, but only because it's so short. I l’amour the relationship Kristoff has with Sven, and watching him sing for Sven was great.
In Summer: This song was great! The animation was simplistic, but I'm pretty sure that was what the animators were going for, and, well, JOSH GAD. He literally makes Olaf, him and Olaf are one. I l’amour the end note, and global, ensemble it's just a nice, lighthearted song.
For The First Time In Forever (Reprise): My personal favori from the soundtrack, I find this song amazing. The beginning is ok, but when Anna and Elsa both start chant at the same time that's when it gets amazing. It's just so powerful and watching the blizzard start to form and Elsa's note at the end. I just l’amour this song.
Fixer Upper: The trolls are me, I am the trolls. I absolutely l’amour the scene before this where Kristoff tries to put his arms around Anna, and they think his family is rocks, and the song definitely doesn't disappoint. I think that it's great that Disney found a way to give us a couple song, but in a new way. It would be unnatural for Kristoff and Anna to sing to each other; their relationship just doesn't work that way, so it was nice that we still got something. AND par THE WAY I DON'T SEE NO RING! Best. Line. Ever.

The Plot

As I've already said, plot isn't the most important thing to me, but of course it's still an important part. The plot is rushed, and many scenes could've been much longer. We should've seen plus of Elsa, but I think that we did get to see a lot actually. All of the Kristoff and Anna scenes were very humorous, and then whenever we saw Elsa it was heartbreaking, which added nice contrast. All and all, the plot had it's weak points, but was action packed, funny, and heartwarming. Yeah....not very much to say about plot..

Conclusion

In conclusion, La Reine des Neiges was great. Ten out of ten for me, and a new Disney classic in my opinion. It was reminiscent of a Dreamworks movie, but the great characters and emotion of the movie save it for me. Anna is a great, realistic character, Elsa is unique and heartbreaking, Kristoff is really fun and unique as well, and all the other supporting characters were great as well. The soundtrack and animation are also extremely beautiful. I l’amour how Elsa's ice powers change color and form due to her emotion. When she's scared, they're yellow, angry, red. All of the details of this movie, Anna chaussette sliding, Olaf calling Kristoff Sven make the movie for me, and I definitely can't wait to watch it again! :)

Thanks for lire everyone. I hope toi all enjoyed. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I'm lazy and have an 8 page paper I should be working on, among other things XD

"I’d expect something better from a child of mine!"
Um, so this'll be my seconde ever fanfiction, it'll be mainly Tangled/Frozen/Brave with some other characters thrown in. Be sure not to expect anything to terribly good, I'm not really a good writer. But I write anyway because I like inflicting suffering in the form of making toi guys read this drivel.

Chapter One: Severe Disadvantage

She was at a severe disadvantage.

Her pale blond hair, now matted and haven fallen out of it’s usual neat braid, flew behind her as she ran through the woods, stepping on thorns with her bare feet. Her prisoners outfit seemed to be made to constrict movement, a...

A knock sounded. "Princess Elsa? It will be time for your coronation in an hour. Please get ready and come down to the chapel."

Elsa acknowledged the servant with a sharp "Yes." And walked up to her mirror. She gazed into it and saw her reflection. Eleven years had passed since she had been visited from the stranger and gotten her powers. Eleven years since she had first found her sister annoying. Eleven years since she had first gone into isolation.

She gazed into it and saw her reflection.

Decided to do an article like this too, I've actually been wanting to do this for a long time, but I thought it was hard to do, well it was hard even now to do this liste because I think Snow White is the type of princess that would get along well with the other princesses, but anyway hope you'll like this article :)

10. Merida

If we're basing it on Merida's personality in the end of the movie she would be placed slightly higher on this liste since she's plus like Snow White at that point, but now I based it on her personality during most of the time in the movie and that is what puts her...

Music

At this point it is sûr, sans danger to conclude that the musique is the most prominently outstanding aspect of Frozen. Moreover, the soundtrack, score and presentation of marvelously spectacular and masterfully performed songs are objectively and noticeably superior to those of any of the other films pertaining to a so-called “New Era” of Disney such as Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Rebelle and Wreck it Ralph. That undoubtedly have their merits and are exceptionally competent and engaging in terms of using musique to set up a necessary mood. However, are nowhere in the neighborhood of the breathtakingly...

One of my favourite thing about the Disney Princess Franchise is the amount of beautiful fan art that is inspired because of it. I decided to create this article so I could share some of my favourite artists.

Amy Mebberson - I doubt anybody HASN'T heard of pocket princesses, but just in case the link is below. Her work is incredible!

Morloth88 - Morloth's art isn't the most accurate, but her Disney School comics are amazing. For those of toi complaining about Disney girls having their personality changed in high school AUs, I think you'll find Morloths art plus than satisfactory.

Okay I noticed a countdown on this club and the results are in my opinion insulting to Disney. I'm not trying to offend anyone, especially the one holding the countdown, but I mean come on, the computed animated films didn't even leave yet. Plus I think people have a different idea of animation than I do because when I think of animation I mostly think about the actual animation itself, not the drawings and consistency, thought that's part of it. But the big part is the colors, the brightness and darkness, the shadowing, and the effects. Now I'm going to separate the computer animated films...

The first Gary Stu test. His l’amour interest Rapunzel is the biggest Mary Sue, so let's see if he is as well.

Unique traits without contacts ou hair dye- No, he has dark hair and eyes.
An odd name- No. Neither of his names (Flynn Rider and Eugene Fitzherbert) are too odd.
Looks constantly commenté on- Only par himself, and only to montrer how arrogant he is.
Always the hero- No, that's mostly Rapunzel. She even brings him back to life.
Multiple characters falling for him- No, only Rapunzel.
Gets into the relationship(s) he wants- No, he didn't want a relationship with Rapunzel at first.

Wow, I'm on a role with these tests. I look up clips from the films for these (though I don't have enough patience to watch the full movies, just the parts relating to the traits). I found the whole of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves on Youtube...presumably. It was just a cut and edited version of the movie played multiple times to make it look like the full movie. Still, it gave me enough information.

Unique traits without contacts ou hair dye- No. Her "hair as black as ebony" and brown eyes are common.

After doing the plus modern princesses, I switched to the classics, who are accused of being Mary Sues a lot. (I might not do ones for Merida and Tiana, since they pretty obviously aren't Mary Sues). Starting with Cinderella.

Unique traits without contacts ou hair dye- No. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, common traits.
An odd name- Yes. It'd make sense if it was explained Cendrillon was a nickname and her real name is Ella, like in some versions, but it isn't in the film. 1.

Hi! I know I haven't written in a long time. And today I'm going to answer the questions that were asked a lot during 2021 and early 2022 with my own ideas. These include things like the easter egg from the Disney Princess movies. If you're ready, let's get started <3

1) "- Why is Rapunzel walking around barefoot throughout the movie?"

Well.. I don't have much to say to that unfortunately. Rapunzel spends half her life in the tower, in the tower she thinks is home, which is where we are most comfortable. And according to some traditions, shoes are not worn at home. Rapunzel might fit in with...
