I keep lire heaps of opinion-based articles about the Disney Princesses, so I decided that I'll do my own series of them, one for each princess.

This article is about how I view Snow White - my opinion on her appearance, clothing and accessories, voice (both chant and speaking), relationship with her prince, and friendships.

Appearance: Her face is a little weirdly shaped because of her low cheek bones. I have always disliked her hair style, and I think that's because I associate princesses with long hair, at least shoulder length. Her eyes are a nice colour and shape, and really suit her. Her nose may appear cute, but it is so small it's almost non-existant in some images. Her lips are a nice shape and colour, but to be the classic Snow White, I think they need to be a deeper red. Most images depict her with rose ou orange lips, which doesn't suit her, but in the movie her lips are red. What is on with that? Similar to all princesses, she has a nice figure, but she may be a little on the too skinny side.

Clothing and Accessories: Firstly, I have to say that I hate the white collier on her main dress. It's big, distracting, doesn't suit the dress properly, and it's the wrong colour to even attempt to suit the dress. If that collier didn't exist, the dress would look a lot nicer. The dress is nice, but it needs long sleeves. To me, it looks almost incomplete without those sleeves extended to her wrists. The colour scheme is nice, as blue, red and yellow go together quite well, but how she keeps that yellow jupe perfectly clean while living in the woods, I have no idea! Her bow is a nice accessory, as it adds a little something to a boring hair style. As for her shoes, not so much. They're the wrong colour to go nicely with her dress, and the bow is actually a little ugly. If the bow was ditched, and the shoes maybe the same blue as the corsage of her dress, it would look a lot nicer.
I don't really want to spend much time on Snow White's rags, as she hardly wears them. They look nice, for rags, but I hate the wooden clogs that she wears with them. The blue bow is nice, but it doesn't really suit the colours of the rags.

Voice: To be completely honest, I have always disliked Snow White's voice. Her speaking voice sounds too high-pitched for my liking. Her chant voice has a little too much vibrato for my liking (for those who don't know, vibrato is the wobbling sound while staying on the same note), and it sometimes sounds like it's forced, not natural, as it should be. As a soprano myself, I like hearing princesses with high chant voices, but to me, Snow White's high voice isn't very pure and clear. It may just be the recording equipment from that time, but that doesn't make a difference.

Relationship with her pirnce: When Snow White first meets her prince, she's in her rags. He felll in l’amour with her voice, and wasn't disgusted when he found out what she was dressed in. As they were saying goodbye, Snow White was being a bit of a flirt, which is surprising for her age and the attitudes when this movie was made. At the end of the movie, they end up together just because Ferdinand woke her up with a kiss. Yes, it was true love's kiss, but in modern times, that isn't really enough to base l’amour on.

Friendships: Snow White is always kind to the animals, both at the château and in the woods. They help her clean and cook, and since she tells them off in a nice way, they don't mind and they do what she says. Snow White is good Friends with all of the dwarves as well, but I think that her favourite is Grumpy. He proves that he actually likes her (as a friend) when he leads the other dwarves back to their house, with the help of the animals. All princesses need their friends/sidekicks, and Snow White has plenty.

To be completely honest, Snow White has always been my least favourite princess, and her voice is the main cause for it. Sorry to any Snow White fans out there!
Dungeons & dragons (or D&D for short) is a super fun dessus de la table, dessus de table roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend toi give it a try if toi ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my favori hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

I know what you’re thinking, “They’re not Disney Princesses,” but hear me out: They are from Shrek, which parodies Disney films. As such, it’s not much of a stretch to assume this group of princesses are a parody of the Disney Princess.

Here we have: Princess Fiona (of course), Snow White, Cendrillon (whose real name I think is Cynthia), Sleeping Beauty (whose real name I think is Princess Talia) and Rapunzel (who is really the villain).

Here are their stories:

Princess Talia - She was cursed par the evil fairy Carabosse to die on her 16th birthday, which happened, but her Prince gave...

I posté a vote two weeks ago, and the vote was like this:

"Scar vs. Dr. Facilier who is a better villain?"

And the result was Scar. In fact, the two villains have a lot of similarities. So much so that toi may be surprised. However, I watched the two films back to back and now I see the incredible similarities between them.

SIMILARITY:

1- They both want to rule a place, Facilier is New Orleans and Scar is Pride Rocks.

2- Both do their evil par using someone else, Scar is the hyenas, and Facilier is his Friends on the other side.

3- Both of them died par their sidekicks. Scar was killed par hyenas,...

Elsa is my favori Disney character. She can create snow and ice. Elsa has a lot of wonderful and similar dispositions to me. Today I am écriture about characters who have similar snow powers to Elsa.

1- Om Nelle ( Cut the rope, super noms)
Om Nelle, who appears as Om Nom's wife in the Om Nom ( Cut the rope) cartoon, has powers similar to Elsa. Like Elsa, Om Nelle can create snow and, most of all, ice. But there are some changes. Elsa's powers are hers and they are innate. Om Nelle makes the ice with the stone of a tiara, the ceinture of a superhero. Without the crown, Om Nelle has no powers. Also,...

Hi guys, I just want to let toi know that I got to see Mulan a few days il y a and like Beauty and the Beast. I have mixed feeling about this live action reboot, so here is my review on the movie that was postpone on numerous occasions due to the COVID-19.

The Story

I was really quite happy with a number of changes in the film, like we get to see Mulan's childhood plus like what we see in Cinderella. I am very happy that she has a sister to talk to, to which I will get to that part later on!
Secondly, she does provide comic relief while in the army along with the soldiers. Whom the latter did not...

Just a heads up there's going to be a lot of sad personal stuff brought up so if toi don't want to read this that's totally understandable.

Today's rewatch: Moana

How much did I like this movie when it came out?

I had some reservations about this movie because I didn't know for sure if it was going to be good especially since I hadn't seen too much stuff about it. But after hearing How Far I'll Go I knew I wanted to watch this movie even if it was just to hear that song on the big screen. My husband and I saw it for my birthday and even though the villain twist...

O = Original
R = Remake
O and R = Original and Remake

Favorite Belle
O 4
R 3

Both versions of Belle are fine, but there is something about both of them that people l’amour that makes them prefer one over the other. The people who picked original Belle grew up with Paige O'Hara's voice who put her cœur, coeur and soul in her role as Belle, and then the people who picked remake Belle like that she's an inventor. One user a dit they prefered original Belle because they didn't like Emma's jouer la comédie and compared to Paige Emma was pretty wooden and even with any positive changes made to her Belle bad jouer la comédie can ruin...

I know La Reine des Neiges isn't part of the Disney Princess franchise but this movie was on the liste of films to watch for months before I finally started doing these articles so please just go with it. ou don't read it. Whichever keeps things drama free.

Tonight's rewatch: Frozen

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I was 20 going on 21 when this movie was released in theaters so I wasn't exactly a kid, plus like a kid at heart. I wasn't excited about this movie at the time and it didn't help when Disney released childrens livres that spoiled the plot, including the Hans spoilers,...

 I know I'm awesome
I know I'm awesome
I'm on a villain appreciation kick right now and since the blatant drainage of all the charisma from his character in the remake is still fresh in my memory I figured I'd give Gaston some props. Some people would call him a lame villain but I actually think he's really cool and these are some reasons why.

He's Hans from La Reine des Neiges done right. Subversion of Disney trends is the name of the game in modern DP films, but like I've been saying, Disney Princess films have been subverting and reinventing themselves before Disney Princess even became a brand. In the Little Mermaid, the princess rescues...

 No ones audition like Gaston!
No ones audition like Gaston!
Hi guys, since I had put this article in the Beauty and the Beast page. So, here are my choices for those who have not read the article yet and for your convenience! This article is basically on what would really happen if Luke Evans hadn't gotten the part of muscular narcissist bully.

1. Tom Burke

Yes, Alan Rickman's godson who played Roland and Bentley Drummle in Dragon Heart: A New Beginning and the 2011 miniseries Great Expectations respectively. From these 2 roles, he could the arrogant Gaston!

2. Colin Farrell

This Irish bad boy really is the ideal Gaston, his voice is gruffy and I bet...

Hello ! I thought a liste of the DPs and what I like/dislike about them would be a good way to introduce myself to this club, so here it is ! Making this list, I was surprised at how difficult it was. I have a few princesses I dislike, but I really l’amour most of them and it was hard to class them all. Some of them seem too low when I look at their rank, but then when I actually try to put them higher I realize I l’amour the ones above just as much !

N°11: ARIEL

One of the only two princesses I actually dislike. She's a spoiled child who only thinks of herself, which would be fine if it was supposed...
