Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent: Old vs New

I'm écriture an article comparing the original Disney Princess films and their remakes and I would like to know everyone's thoughts about both films and which they prefer; original ou remake.

Just answer the following with "original" ou "remake". toi can either just say one of those two words ou toi can answer and give a reason.

favori curse : original of course ! The curse is very important in the fairy tale . The curse is the same in All sleeping beauty's adaptations the original from perrault, brother grimm version , Disney , livres for kids , films adaptations. Changing the curse of sleeping beauty is for me just like if we decide That ariel had to give the trident instead of her voice , Cendrillon Lost Two glass slipper , Aladin only have Two wish and rapunzel doesnt live any longer in a tower but a house. In the movie maleficent, she doesnt want aurora to be dead anymore , they Forgot about the last fairy's gift and throw out of the Windows the mentions of " 100 years of slumber" and apparently they did that because they needed to montrer king stephan beg maleficent. So yeah the original i dont like how they treat the original fairy tale in maleficent.
favori prince and princess meeting : original in the animated their meeting is strange but still cute and romantic. In maleficent i just find the scene so embarassing.

The original is superior in every aspect. I can't express enough how much I l’amour it - the animation, the bad-ass characters, the musique - and how much I hate the remake. Especially what they did to the fairies. And that they a volé, étole the transformation from Maleficent.

Right! This was not even a moderately close faithful adaptation. Phillip's Kiss didn't work, the fées are seen as incompetent and stupid, the king was turned evil, and so many plus things that make me want to forget that this was even a live action remake. Cinderella, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast were handled much better and with plus respect to the source material.

I haven't seen Aladdin, but so far the only remake I liked was Jungle Book and that was because they did something new which could have stood on its own without the unnecessary reference to the animated movie. It's not that they did something different whcih bothers me about Maleficent, it is that the sh... all over the original while doing it. The fées are just insulting.
