Princesses Disney Question

Why toi don't like Cinderella?

I've look the articles, picks, questions etc., and I see that people don't like Cendrillon ou Prince Charming,or their story, ou their love, everything about them, and I don't understand. She is beautiful and nice, and he is handsome. She is my favori Disney Princess. So why toi don't like them?
Why a lot of people l’amour Ariel?
Why toi don't like Cinderella?

Cendrillon was one of my favoris when I was little (although nobody beats Ariel in my book), but when the other princesses came around, she was kinda bland compared to them. She has that whole passive personality thing that plagues Snow White and Aurora too. That's my opinion anyway.

^^I agree. I mean just look at the icone for Disney Princesses. It's Cinderella. She's definetely the main princess & i also think she's the typical "pretty girl" with blonde hair & blue eyes and all. But then Aurora is too. Personally, I like Cinderella. She used to be my favori when I was little, but now Belle's my favorite. That's just my opinion though.

They are passive in the way that they do not actively go out and achieve their dreams as the princesses proceeding Ariel do. SW Aurora and Cendrillon are all passive because things happen to them, yet they do not take an active role in achieving their dreams, other factors and catalysts do that for them (in Cinderella's case, her fairy godmother). I'm not saying this is a negative thing, it's just a sign of the time the movie was made, when women's role was intended to be that way. Also, I think it is highly unfair to judge these characters on their passivity when it is plus a sign of the time than anything. Also, I don't believe passivity to be a character flaw, just a different type of character. Personally, I prefer the active characters, yet I still like the passive ones too.

Prince Charming- he doesn't do much. (not
Counting the sequels) but, I never really got to know him in the first movie. All I know is that he's pretty passionate for finding his true love


Their relationship- l’amour at first sight: I think their very sweet as a couple but, I also think that l’amour at first sight is a bit shallow. I guess it's because I'm very big on inner beauty.

soooooooooo many people l’amour cinderella, especially on fanpop. i mean, i never saw anyone saying that they dislike cindy, except for me. i'm kinda the "weird" one because of that. i also say that's she's ugly, when everyone else seems to find her beautiful. so i don't really understand why you're saying that o_O
as for charming, yeah, of course he's not that loved. he's really boring, imo. and i don't think he's handsome either.

about your third question: i'm with you, lol. i hate ariel and i don't understand why so many people l’amour her

I think toi meant to say very few people l’amour her... I dont know ANYONE but me and my little cousins who like her. almost everyone is like you, hates her.

and like pretty_angel92 said, there are very few people who doesn't like her, and she's the only one here who hates her, for me Cindy is 4th, i l’amour her, as for Charming, he's romantic, but UGH just the idea that he HIMSELF didn't go to look for her really bothers me, that's why he's my last, hell he even beated Naveen for the last place, as for the story, it's the most populaire one imo !
