Damon and Elena - the last time

So, I decided to write a song about Damon and Elena. It’s from Elena’s point of view. First she’s in denial. She doesn’t want to believe she’s starting to feel something for Damon. Then she’s torn between the two Salvatore brothers. And in the end she chooses Damon :)

I blushed deeply. What Stefan had told Lexi had melted away some of the anger that I felt towards him. I leant vers l'avant, vers l’avant and placed my hand on his knee. Damon shuffled uncomfortably on the arm of the chair.
“Stefan, I…never knew toi felt that way before,” I a dit softly. He looked deep into my eyes. Suddenly I felt a twinge of guilt. Stefan still loved me and had recently walked in on me with his brother. It really hit me that if Damon had told me all this and that Stefan still loved me that I would never have gotten with Damon at all – even though my feelings towards Damon probably wouldn’t...

Setting the scene: Damon and Elena are at a Founder’s jour pre-party, where Stefan is drinking heavily, in an attempt to dull his hunger for human blood. Elena expresses her concerns to Damon as the two sit suivant to one another at the bar. It’s a choice that heroines in teen dramas have had to grapple with for ages: the brooding and sensitive good boy versus the unrepentant and dangerous bad one.
