Has anyone developed any aléatoire habits as a result of watching Death Note?

When I eat an apple, I do the dance.

yes, I act alot like Misa Amane and do the insane, psychotic Kira Laugh frequently, and have started to deduce things like L.

I write like Light does when he's fipping out when écriture names in the death note all dramatically.
So basically I'm sitting in class all quiet then I bust out with;
"And I will be the GOD of the new algebraic Functions!!!" *insert dramatic arm sweep here*

I am facing Death Note affects. I'm glad toi asked this question so I know I'm not the only one. I talk and sit like L a lot of the time, I seriously offered my friend a fraise to keep a secret of mine((Like L)), and I sometimes do the insane Kira laugh, all of this without meaning to.

I always twirl my hair like Near, especially when I am think something over. I also talk in a really low voice to myself when I am trying to figure something out, and EVERYBODY get's annoyed at that ;D

I sit like L and bite my thumb nail like him and do the Kira laugh
and I do what near does with his hair and I know if someone is mean ou "evil" like mikami and I keep my eyes open wide like L and I talk like L when I'm thinking

Sit and stare at a computer moniter for hours on end till like 7 am

Hold cell phones with my index and thumb... people get offended apparently from that if toi use someone else's and hold it like that XD

Whenever I eat a chocolat bar I always try to make a epic CRACK chewing up half of it XD MELLO...

Why, Yes, Yes I Have :)... Actually, And This Is No Joke, I Sat Like L In An Office Chair, Even Before Death Note, It's Just And Automatic Thing And I Do It Without Acknowledgement. I Also Stick My Thumb In My Mouth Like He Does When I'm Looking At A Computer Screen ou Focused On One Thing.
Also, I Usually Laugh Maniacally For No Reason And Scribble Violently In A aléatoire Piece Of Paper In Red Ink.
Oh! And My Reasoning And Deductive Skills Have Gone Up par 40% ^^

Yes in fact I have! Sometimes I sit like L (especially when I go sailing in a tiny sailboat) and if anyone offers to go out for crème glacée ou anything I'm like, "Make sure to have your two-three servings a day!" (see below). Also I did kind of wanted to have goggles once, because every once in a while toi find someone who always wears a pair (Matt) and I find cool (but I end up not wearing them. toi lucky people.) Finally, this isn't exactly from watching Death Note but reinforced it, I want to dye my hair white (like Near?). and this was before Death Note, and I finally my mom about it and she said: "Like old person white? No!". So there toi have it.

Yepperz! Suddenly I have the aléatoire habit of using big word in sentances, I have a craving to sit with both my feet up on the chair, and I've use to fingers to handle things. I've also started laughing for no aparent reason. All of which, have happended after contributing my entre existance(ya see, there i go again with the big words!) to Death Note..... o.o

Hmm...well I had always twirl my hair while thinking deeply ou when I get frustrated...but after seeing Death Note it became important :D

And when people talks about justice I can't help but a dit "Kira is justice!" ou "Justice will prevail" depending my mood.

I have attempted to eat chocolat like Mello but I failed.

In my classroom some friend became obsessioned because of me and he put us all characters. (I'm Mikami) He is both Ligt and L. But he's so damn like L. Seriously he can act him so freaking fine, and he's really pale and his hair is dark and he has the same form of the adam's pomme and...he's just exactly as L.

Another friend likes a lot sweets because of L. One time she eat cake with strawberries in my house and attempt to sit like L in the lit but she Lost balance and flew to the floor very funny.The strawberries flew too, I had to gave them to my dog xD

I've made a odd habit of thinking to myself in ways that I start making faces when I figure something out. My Friends often look at me and ask "Why do toi look so surprised all of a sudden?" I also tend to put my hands around my mouth area when thinking hard about something important. And I can't forget my l’amour for leather suits, chocolate, video games, and fuzzy jackets! ^_^

I developed some but others were ones I had before I even knew what Death Note was and never noticed till then.

- Near's hair twirl. I used to do that consently as a younger child. But I stopped a long time ago. I still catch myself do it osscianaly but then I'll stop immediatly.
- Light's manic laugh. I have to be in a proper hyper mood to start laughing like he doe's. It's quite embrassing when I do it to be honest. > . <
- Light's Potato Chip Eating. Well, who doe's NOT eat potato chips? Sadly they don't sparkle when I chomp on them. :(
- L's Sweet Addiction. I've always had a l’amour for candy. I do admit though, ever since I seen him eating some, I been eating plus and more. If I get over weight, I'm blaming him! LOL.
- L's talking in percentages. I'm not kidding, I've done this often before I knew about Death Note.
- L's thumb to mouth when thinking. - Same as I a dit about the percentages. Though I seem to do this lot plus even when not thinking... it's a habit I've had ever since I could remember.
- L's slouch. Not just when I'm stood up, but also when I'm sitting. Many teachers have picked up on it and don't like it. Heheh.
- L's ability to not sleep for days. I'm pretty sure he can go on for much MUCH longer than me though.
- Mello's/L's chocolat - I l’amour the crack noise it makes. Ever since I seen them do that, I try do it whenever I'm eating chocolate.

There's probs more... but I can't think of any right now.

well, suddenly i l’amour apples, i write sometimes like Light and im sitting like L, i have twilred my hair before i reafed death note so i contuniue with it. and hm.. i like white sweaters more. lol

Since I started watching lire Death Note I started to sit like L-sama (especially while lire the manga) and when I eat a Potato Chip I say..(I'll take a Potato Chip....and Eat It) some things in this animé are contagious XD

1. I eat chips like Light.
2. I write like Light often. (it drives my teacher insane.. XD)
3. I occasionally sit like L.
4. Before I even started watching DN I bite my thumb when I think...but, I only just noticed after seeing L do it.. O_o'
5. I do many normal things over-dramatically. XD
6. Whenever I get good marks ou something goes the way I wanted to, I say.. "All according to plan." :3

A hundred times yes. I've been sitting in L's crouch position plus often and eat sweets plus often. I tend to bite my nails way too much and please tell me I'm not the only one who eats apples almost 24/7.

-I have many, many quirks, but probably just did not notice until I began watching Death Note.
-I often speak in L's style, from word-choice to monotone
-I will twirl my hair, as well, when I am anxious ou distracted.
-I will deduce things, often, just as L would.
-Sometimes, I laugh just like Light......I'm so ashamed!

Not only that, but I am also similar to L's character in several ways. I am antisocial and have a lot of quirks, I fail to take care of myself properly, I eat normally only one regular meal a day, but lots of sweets throughout, and I will always find my tone of voice sauntering into his own.

His personal traits have rubbed off on me.

It seems as if toi are easily influenced par what toi see around you. Don't worry, I'm like that, too. I sat like L before I saw Death Note, but now I do it even plus since I watched it! Maybe toi used to do those things all the time, but just didn't notice it.

Eating potato chips and écriture like Light, sitting like L. And eating plus cake. Lots of cake.

I sit like L, and at lunch with my Friends i sometimes go "I'll take a potato chip......AND EAT IT!!!!" and we all laugh because most of us have watched Death Note.

Near- I used to twirl my hair whenever I was tired, thinking ou bored but i stopped doing it as often but sometimes I catch myself doing it again.

Light- I have always had Light manic laugh. It creeps people out and I get called a manic ou psycho sometimes.

And then there's L-Sweets have always been a big thing for me, but I have picked up on it plus now. Sometimes I accidentally sit like him and then get yelled at. >.< And I often hold phones, cups etc. like L and people give me weird looks. I now also have a bad habit of slouching, putting my thumb in my mouth while thinking and not sleeping. I was always told how good my posture is until I started watching Death Note. Sleep is almost nonexistent in my life now. I used to get around 8h of sleep a night and now I get less than that in a week! It starting to make people worry about me.. Hehehe..

Yes well I have been effected as well. I have caught myself jouer la comédie like L talking,sitting,acting,dressing, and my intelligence has gone up as well. Eating sweets is kind of a 24/7 thing I did before I watched death note. I have also been able to control my emotions. It's surprising because being a girl I usually can't do that so no u are not alone. X )

I find it very funny because I twirled my hair even before I watched it, I also sat like L all of the time, and people thought it was very weird lol. But I have developed habits from watching it, I eat plus camelote, indésirable nourriture then I did before and I hold things really weirdly. If I'm eating a chip I hold it between my middle finger and pointer finger in my right hand. I also hold my toothbrush really weirdly MDR xD and I get into moods where I think about really deep stuff like what I would do in a world where the death note existed. I've realized I'm actually a lot like light other then the fact that I don't use people for my own personal gain but I do believe the wrong should be punished and the right should be rewarded. I don't hate any of the characters. Sometimes I don't like a character but I don't fully hate them. A lot of people hate Light but I can't even hate him due to the fact that I understand why he does what he does.

I kind of have always twirled my hair (cuz it's bot that uncommon a thing to do), but, when my brother and I eat chips ou anything similar to them we usually say "I'll take a potato chip, and eat it!" just like Light does that one timeI do crave sweets all the time but that's just cuz I'm a kid (14 years old), so it makes sense.

Just par sitting like L does not mean your deductive skills will increase 40%. Remember, L is a liar. Clearly, L has odd habits and he made up lies so that he would no longer get questioned about it anymore.
L's sitting posture is the Third World Squat par the way.
I often sit like L in school and at accueil due to the fact that I found the Third World Squat a very comfortable sitting posture. It also helps me remove any distracting thoughts when doing assignments and when I am in deep thinking.
L claims he can't sit normally because his deductive skills would drop par 40%.
Well, I can't do assignments ou work efficiently without listening to musique with my earbuds. It is just how L can't use his deductive skills efficiently unless he sits the way he does.
So, with these assumptions, I believe this is why L has his ' odd ' way of sitting.

After I watched death note I slouch just like L and sitting like L and biting my thumb just like him makes me think faster so I sit like him whenever I need to think.Also I had became plus calm and emotionless. Also I started to like cakes plus and wished I could eat sweets and cakes for meals everyday.

Yeah, I've developed some really strange habits. There were some I already had (Sitting like L whenever I can, constantly eating sweets, chewing my thumb's fingernail), and some that I only got after watching Death Note. Like, I started twirling my hoodie string, since I have really short hair ou the ribbon-bookmark-thingy that's on some books. I've been told that I'm usually really perceptive and observant, and that I always seem to use some kind of deduction skill, even around people I know, and I've found myself starting to actively think about it. I also stay awake for DAYS, and when I sleep, it's the way L sits, just with a blanket around my shoulders.

I used to sit like L when I was a kid, chew fingernails, loved chocolate, looked edgy while writing....but not because of death note.

But my l’amour for sugarcubes has increased

I,most of the times,sit like L on chair,bed,even inside car if the road would have been bumpy.
I think like Light Yagami to be honest I thought like him since ages.

I sit, hold things, act, and eat like L. I'm not a fan of potato chips, but I'll solve equations with my RIGHT hand, and write with my LEFT! I'll take a POTATO chip...AND! EAT IT! also my tennis coach asked how I manage to sit the way I do. BTW, I crouch like L. And it's and not even purposeful. to haut, retour au début things off, L's birthday is WAY to close to mine. (like 2 ou 3 days off)

Well, not going to lie I’ve always sat like L even before death note and was a deep thinker and did what he did before I have seen death note, I am aiming those thoughts on autism since I have it, it’s probably why I did those thing because of autism, therefore watching Death Note hasn’t affected me in any ways.

Yes, actually I have. For some reason, I twirl my hair when I'm thinking logically and whenever I think about Death Note, I get the impulsive urge to sit in my chair like L. Not to mention I have an INTENSE l’amour for apples and sometimes when I'm angry I'll be all like DANG IT! (As I understand that's called a Light fit). It's just really weird, and since I've seen that show, I've been going back and playing with my old toys more. I don't know, it's really weird.
