I really hope so. It's such an epic fighting franchise game and I don't want it to end so soon.

No, It's not over. If the creator of a game leaves the company, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll drop the series. That's not how it works. Since Tecmo bought the rights to the game, it basically belongs to them (regardless of what the creator desires). The only person that would be in charge of developing "Dead or Alive 5" would have to be Yusuke Hayashi (he directed Ninja Gaiden Sigma). So there's still a ray of hope my friends. Keep your fingers crossed.
