After creating the 'Date With An Angel' spot I wanted to create a spot for the movie Splash as well, however I found that there wasn't enough material around for either films and since they were both similar and both 1980's films with the same romance, comedy and fantaisie aspects I decided to bring both of these mystical creatures together and change it to the 'Date With An Angel vs Splash' spot, Splash came out in 1984, followed par rendez-vous amoureux, date With An Angel in 1987 and had similar story lines two mystical females who fell in l’amour with two ordinary guys, one being a mermaid and the other an angel, so it really made sense to combine the two movies, because they compliment each other so well, I hope to get a wider fan base with this unusual mix of films and I hope to get some contributions to this spot, thank toi to all the fans for précédant contributions, they are very much appreciated, I hope that some of toi have as much fun with this spot as I did in making it, and as always continue having fun on Fanpop.
