Stefan has to be fully back in his humanity mode or he and Elena have to break op first. Also, I'd like it when Damon isn't going to be a rebound guy or something like that. Their relationship has to be genuine.

But didn't you listen to Elena in the last episode? 'We'll let him go' which means that they DID break up! And JP said that Elena has realised that she must move on

I hope it happens soon! I don't think Damon is a kind of backup, i just think Elena can kiss him now because she let Stefan go. I think she was always very loyal to Stefan and didn't want to cheat him. But that she already wanted to kiss Damon for a few episodes. But now Stefan is out of the picture she doesn't feel loyal/guilty anymore and can do whatever she want :)

I want the kiss in the upcoming episode. Then Damon will back off so it would be great opportunity for Elena to chase him a bit.

Well, I think they're ready for it. Elena has let Stefan go. Its over. He betrayed them.

If they have more scenes with more tension they're gonna burn up in flames and you can kiss Delena goodbye. Seriously, more tension? They've had enough tension! We've been dealing with Delena tension for a long time now and I think they, and us too, will suffer a spontaneous combustion. They're too hot together to be having even MORE tension. Because when they have tension it's not any kind of tension, it's SEXUAL tension. I don't think I could handle anymore of it... 3x06 was full-on sexual tension and I think I used like 20 ice packs to calm down. Seriously.

And I don't think Damon would be a rebound if it happened now or in the near future. It would have been a clear rebound if she had gone to Damon right after Stefan left. Now it wouldn't seem like a CLEAR case of rebound because it's like the SE breakup is there.
