Elena was pacing up and down the living room when Damon and Stefan came in. She speeded towards them and slapped Damon in the face.
“If toi dare to ask what that was for I swear I’m going to slap toi again” Elena threatened trembling and with tears in her eyes. “I told toi I wasn’t going to take your blood. But of course, Damon Salvatore only thinks about himself. I hope you’re happy now. My bags are packed”
Elena waited for Damon to say something, anything to defend himself. But he remained quiet. Elena looked up at Stefan. “Can toi tell Meredith that I’m sorry? I didn’t mean to hurt her like that”
“You attacked Meredith?” Stefan exclaimed surprised.
“I didn’t mean to. I was starving” Elena defended herself. She looked at Damon, anticipative.
“If you’re waiting for an apology, toi can wait forever. And toi can take that literally” Damon snarled.
Elena wanted to give him a hostile comeback, when Stefan quickly interrupted.
“Elena, Damon didn’t give toi his blood” he a dit in a moment of impulsivity. Damon glared at him, but Stefan cast him a warning glance. “I did. I didn’t want toi to die and I didn’t want toi to hate Damon for trying to keep toi alive. So, I gave toi my blood. Now you’re alive and toi don’t have to be mad with Damon. Be mad with me. It’s a small price to pay”
Elena turned to Damon. “Is that true?” she demanded to know.
“Yes” Damon replied eventually. Elena swallowed and returned to Stefan. “Then this is goodbye. I don’t want to see toi again. I never want to talk to toi again. Just…get out!” she yelled furious. Stefan looked down and up again. “If that’s what toi want” he calmly a dit before leaving his own house.
