Differences between Delena and Stelena.
First of all I need toi to know that no matter what toi read down here and how toi see it,I'm multishiper and I ship both-Delena and Stelena. But when people say that they l’amour both couples the same,they don't really want to admit that it's impossible. toi just can't feel the same for two absolutely different things,it's not natural,so...here's my choice. It thought it wouldn't be easy,but when I put it all like this it turned out to be easiest decision I ever had to make. One plus thing,I decided which couple is my first and which one I l’amour the most,but that doesn't mean I l’amour the other any less,so please,just read the articale and see if that may help toi to see things in the other way.
I know most of toi are upset about Elena's decision in this season,but I never really was. To be honest,it was impossible for her to choose Damon and deep down we all know it. Elena loves Stefan,that's plus than obvious and she loves what he can give to her. While they were together their relationship was healty for both of them,she gave him her humanity (it sound creepy,but what I meant is that Stefan l’amour that warm Elena,her human side and all that) and he gave her safety-safety that someone will always be there to put his arms around her and tell her he loves her. That someone will always be there to make her every wish come true even if it's the most stupid thing on the Earth and most of all...she was sure he'd never die. She needed it. After losing her parents and after everything with Jeremy,Elena needed someone like that to turn her back to life and she got it. That's beautiful and toi can't just forget someone like that,you can't forget someone who basiclly saved your life. Elena will always l’amour Stefan,no matter what comes between them,we all need to acept that for our own good. But let's just go back to her choice in 3x22 please. Most of us strongly believed that she'd choose Damon and even a part of me believed that,but when Julie a dit that Elena will choose the brother she can't live without at this point of her life,I knew it was Stefan. She Lost Alaric,just 2 episodes ago,the only person that could take care of her and Jeremy and once again,she needed safety. She needed to feel sûr, sans danger and we all know that Damon will never give her the kind of safety Stefan does. It's because she never really accepted that Stefan has the dark side and she made herself believe that he's actually what he was in last two seasons,but even the writer says it's not the real Stefan. Anyway,she met Damon completly,she knows what he can do and how their relationship wouldn't work perfectly like it's with her and Stefan. She knows Damon would never let her do something stupid that will put her in danger,but Stefan...he would and she knows it. From my point of view Elena's human choice would always be Stefan even is she lived 100 years more. I'm not saying it because she loves him plus than Damon. In the future,there was possibility for her to fall in l’amour with Damon plus than she ever did with Stefan,but even then,she wouldn't choose Damon. This time it wouldn't be about safety,it would be about Elena's possibilites. As a human,Elena would never be able,she would never be strong enough to let Damon all the way in. She had no strenght to take away fear of lose from her soul and if she wants to be with Damon,she has to face the danger. And there comes the story of vampire Elena. We all know the 17 years old girl whose world was falling apart when she Lost her parents,but let's go back to the 3x22 flashback of her earlier life. We all see Elena was complitely different person in the time she actually met Damon. Then,she wanted a l’amour that consumes,she wanted advanture and passion,she wanted to live it with her whole cœur, coeur and for that she needed the danger too. That's actually what every normal teenager want...a l’amour that will awake everything in toi and give toi other points of life. Well,that's what only Damon can give her. We all know Stefan would never be able to cosume her ou have an advanture with her. He would also never give her that kind of passion she needs and sure as hell,he would never give her danger. I mean what's the point of all that safety,if there's danger? Anyway,Elena that we met will never live again,but Elena that Matt,Bonnie,Caroline,Damon knew is the real Elena and that's why Julie a dit DE story is just beggining. Now,she will be the girl that Damon met and she will be strong enough to take away that fear that's burning inside her,she will be able to enjoy her life like every single person want. I don't expect her to just give up Stefan ou to let Damon in in first episodes. Ofcourse not. In my opinion,she will be with Stefan at the beggining and it will be beautiful,but later it won't be enough for her anymore. She'll need to desire that passion with Damon,that different life,life full of joy and life that toi live without thinking of tomorrow. This now may sound like that thing with Damon would just pass par when her hormons slow down and I know that a lot of SE shipers think so,but that's the thing. Her emotions for Damon,that passion and lust are not just simple things. Passion that she feels for him can only grow and grow and it won't stop,no matter what happens,because it's eternal,everlasting kind of passion that will haunt her forever. And that...that is the difference between Stelena and Delena. Damon will never give her safety Stefan would,but she won't need it anymore and on the other side,Stefan would never be able to give her that what Damon can and it's the important thing because after everything that has happend,Elena will always be the girl that needs Damon's kind of love.
Ok,I just wrote it in couple of minutes.I hope toi understood what I wanted to say and that it will help toi see whole story from brither side. And I want toi to know one plus thing: No matter what happens and how writers decide to end it,I know that this little things that made me decide to ship Delena plus than Stelena will always be my explanation and I will always believe that the montrer should've ended with Delena.
