A Strange Way to Fall in l’amour Chapter Nine
Juvenile detention was so boring. I had nothing to with Lola being gone. I mean usually we would just sit and hang out. But now that she was at hospital there was not much to do. I did not know any of the other kids around here. Most of them looked like freaks anyways.
After the incident I came back here to the juvenile detention. But I stayed over night then I had to go talk to Horatio.
I sat in one of the glass rooms in Horatio's building. Did he have bad news about Lola? Was Lola getting out and was I going to have to stay in longer? ou would it be the other way around?
"Kyle, it is good to see you," Horatio a dit as he walked in.
"Hey, toi too," I said, "is something wrong?!"
"No, not at all! Lola should be here soon," he stated, "I just wanted to thank toi before Lola got here! Thank toi for keeping Lola sûr, sans danger and giving us the details that we needed."
"No problem. I am glad I could help," I said, "is everything all right with Lola?"
"Oh yeah, she is fine," he a dit as Lola walked in.
"Kyle," Lola laughed, "everything is fine! toi worry way to much!"
"Sure, whatever," I said.
Lola came over and hugged me. I was sort surprised par it.
"Did toi miss me," she asked.
"I did," I laughed, "I think that I was plus worried about in stead!"
"I was totally fine; great jouer la comédie par the way," she said.
"Thank you, thank you, I tried," I a dit jokingly.
"So Horatio, why did toi bring us both here," Lola asked as she cut straight to the point, "we could have seen each other in juvy."
"Maybe I brought toi two here because toi would not be seeing each other in juvenile detention," Horatio a dit as Lola cut him off.
"Are toi kidding," she asked, "I made a friend and now toi are separating us?"
"Hold on, Lola," he a dit as Lola cut him off again.
"I know toi a dit toi would give us less time in juvy but I would rather have plus time in there if that meant I would have a friend," she stated.
"Lola, if toi let me finish I would tell toi that toi two are not getting separated," Horatio a dit a little angry, "I brought toi two here to tell toi that toi are not going back to juvenile detention."
"Alright," I a dit as I sighed in relief.
"Then where are we going," Lola asked confused.
"Back to the orphanage where toi two were original at," he said.
"Better than nothing," I shrugged.
It was a little disappointing having to go back to the orphanage but it was a lot better than juvenile detention.
"I guess that is true," she a dit disappointed.
I watched as Lola slumped down on the canapé and sat there; still looking disappointed.
"Come on, Lola," I said, "it is not the end of the world!"
"It is going to be so boring after we did," Lola said, "is there anymore missions we can go on?!"
"No Lola," Horatio a dit oddly, "you cannot do that. Kyle, can toi give Lola and I a minutes to talk?"
"Sure, I will wait outside," I said.
I walked out the door and watched as Lola and Horatio talked. I sat outside watching them talk. It was something serious too! Lola did not crack a smile. Well, she sometimes does not crack many smiles. I saw her stand up and point a finger at Horatio. She was also yelling. A cop came over to them and stepped in between; but Horatio a dit something to him and he went back to the corner. Horatio kept is cool the whole time while Lola was screaming. It looked as if she was ready to throw a chair across the room. She never threw it across the room but she did throw it into one of the glass walls. That is when Horatio got mad. Glass was everywhere. They were both screaming and the cop was just standing there speechless.
"What is going on," I asked as I walked in the room.
"Nothing," Lola sighed, "let's go!"
"Um, okay," I a dit sort of confused, "do toi wanna talk about it!"
"Absolutely not," she a dit as she followed the cop out of the building.
"Okay," I shrugged.
