The song came together on the West Coast in Venice, California while the band was working in the studio with renowned producer Aaron Edwards in 2016—when the band was formed. Edwards has worked with bands like RIVALS, Sick Puppies, The Cab, etc. When discussing the quality of the track, Dom Vigil a dit it best; “The result is a spooky, infectious track that evokes the dance parties of an era past, updated for the playlists of today.” The resulting project blends elements of Indie, Pop and British Alternative into a fresh take on indie pop. Infectious grooves and strong story-telling are combined with energetic live shows to keep fans coming back for more.

The single can be described as eccentric and filled with good vibes, which is consistent with the rest of their musical catalog. The band was formed in 2016 as the new pop outlet for singer/songwriter Joe renard and producer/multi-instrumentalist Aaron Edwards (The Cab, Rivals, Sick Puppies). The projects they create blend elements of Indie, Pop and British Alternative into a fresh take on indie pop. Although the band is Seattle based, it was actually born in Los Angeles. Joe renard and the Frantics formed in 2016 as a new creative and pop outlet for singer/songwriter Joe renard and producer/multi-instrumentalist Aaron Edwards. Together, they formed singles and projects with a blend of Indie, Pop, and British Alternative to transcend a new genre of alternative indie pop music. The band takes their l’amour for classic rock music, as well as alternative music, to the suivant level. Both fans and critics are quick to praise the new single. Arielle Elisabeth, of Earbuddy wrote, “Lots of people say rock and roll is dead, but Joe renard and The Frantics probably disagree. Their rock sensibilities mix with their own sound for a wonderful blend. quite fantastic to say the least. These riffs and fast grooves are perfect for a fast drive ou kick back.”

I wanna live life and never be cruel.
I wanna live life and be good to you.

And I wanna fly and never come down.
And live my life and have Friends around.

We never change, do we? no, no
We never learn, do we?

So I wanna live in a wooden house.

I wanna live life and always be true.
I wanna live life and be good to you.

And I wanna fly and never come down.
And live my life and have Friends around.

We never change, do we? No, no
We never learn, do we?

So I wanna live in a wooden house,
where making plus Friends would be easy.

Oh, and I don´t have a soul to save.
Yes, and I sin every single day.

We never change, do we?
We never learn, do we?

So I wanna live in a wooden house,
Where making plus Friends would be easy.
I wanna live where the sun comes out ...

Did I drive toi away?
I know what you'll say.
You'll say, "Oh, sing one we know"
But I promise toi this,
I'll always look out for you.
That's what I'll do.

And sing "oh"
I'll sing "oh"

My cœur, coeur is yours.
It's toi that I hold on to.
That's what I'll do.
But I know I was wrong,
And I won't let toi down.
(Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah I will, yes I will…)

But I'll sing "oh"
I cry "oh"

Yeah I saw sparks,
Yeah I saw sparks,
And I saw sparks,
Yeah I saw sparks,
chant out.

La, la, la, la, oh…
La, la, la, la, oh…
La, la, la, la, oh…
La, la, la, la, oh…
