Everyone gasped.
"You mean he....?" Kuki started
"With the kids....?" Wally quivered
"And the 'SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!' and the 'BAD! BAD! BAD!'?" Kacey shuddered.
Kiki shook her head. "Worse! He....are toi ready for this?"
Everyone hesistated, but nodded.
"....laughed."
Everyone's eyes grew to the size of dîner plates.
"WHAT?!?!?!?!"
"You heard me!":
"He laughed! Not evilly, though...it was plus of a HAPPY laugh. We were all shocked.
'You got me! toi actually got me! For a bunch of misbehaving 5th graders, toi guys are REALLY smart!'
We all hesitated, but laughed along with him. Then the happy 'you got me' laugh turned into that kind of laughter where toi see something so funny, toi could pee yourself.' <sigh> That was fun"
"'Y'know, for most of the day, toi guys have been really really good! What do toi say we spend the rest of the jour outside?'
'You mean it?!' Laura squealed.
He nodded.
'Like 'Outside-for-reccess' outside?! As in we can have reccess for the rest of the day!?' I squeaked.
He smiled, opened the door, and a dit 'Run free, childrens! You've earned it.'"
"We all cheered. For a malicious, scary, and downright spank-happy vampire, he's like a little kid. He pushed us on the swings (afterwards, we had to push him. My GOD, is he heavy!), slid down the slide (we had to convince Adrienne to go with him down the really big swirly one because he was too scared to go. Wimp.), played hide-and-seek (we eventually had to call off the game because we couldn't find him. Every time we had him, he teleported somewhere else. That cheater.), and even played kickball (He SUCKS at it. He's got to learn toi have to KICK the ball, not claque, smack it with his hand. Nimrod.). When the cloche, bell rang, he corraled us inside. We grabbed our stuff and expected to be let out.... then he blocked the door.
'What the heck, man?! School's out!' Adrienne whined.
He smiled evilly. 'That's right. School's out!'
I froze. 'Wait....if school's out, then that means he's not our teacher. Then THAT means...!'
He laughed evilly.
'Oh CRAP!'
There was a whole bunch of screaming and crying, but about 5 minutes later, he let us out. Numbuh 3.8 caught up with us.
'Hey! How was-'
Laura and Adrienne snarled.
'Don't ask.'"
"So is THAT the reason toi two don't get along?" Hoagie asked.
"Well, that's ONE of the reasons. There's a whole bunch more, but I'm not gonna get into it."
Kuki, Wally, and Kacey whined.
"Ok, fine. Now it all started in 3rd grade the week of Halloween...."
