10. Gay Purr-ee
I loved watching this movie when I was a little girl so when I finally found the dvd last an and bought it I was so happy! I felt like a child again when I was watching it because it brought back so many memories. I l’amour Judy Garland in this and the songs she sang in this especially Paris Is a Lonely Town and I l’amour how original the plot is unlike some animated films we see these days with all the overdone plots. The reason why this movie isn't higher on my liste is because it kinda drags on during some parts of the film which makes me lose interest quickly
9. Bambi
This movie is actually one of the reasons I l’amour animaux and nature. Watching the deer play in the meadow and watching Bambi and Thumper play have always been my favori parts of the movie. And honestly I l’amour the songs. Especially Looking for Romance ( I Bring toi a Song). I know some of the songs in this movie aren't as fast ou as exciting as the songs we have in newer Disney films but not every song has to be as funny and crazy as Friend Like Me ou I Have a Dream. This movie isn't higher on my liste because I l’amour the other films plus and because I always hated watching all the 'man' scenes.
8. Fox and the Hound
The main thing I l’amour about this movie is that it teaches kids that even when two people who are different (like say different skin color ou race ou gender ou even is physically ou mentally handicapped) they can still be friends. I really l’amour the little side plot with Binky, Boomer, and Squeaks, even though it doesn't really have anything to do with Todd and Copper it's just great comic relief. And I l’amour Big Mama and her conseil to Todd and how even though she liked the idea of a renard and a hound playing together she still tried to protect Todd from getting false hope about things between him and Copper not changing when he comes accueil from his hunting trip. This movie isn't higher on my liste because I like the films better
7. Lady and the Tramp
Sometimes I wonder why some people hate this movie. I'm not saying this movie is absolutely flawless ou anything but to HATE a movie like this...When I was little I loved Lady. I thought she was beautiful, I loved her curiousity over everything especially the baby thing, I loved how she was so well mannered and yet would not hesitate to fight off a rat and chase Si and Am away so they wouldn't hurt the baby. I remember actually doing some of the things she did. And before toi jump to conclusions, no I did not try to stick my head in an aligator's mouth and I did not run around in dangerous alleys. All I did was chase birds and when I accidentally dug a plant out of my mom's garden I would do a REALLY bad job putting it back in and I whenever I ate spaghetti actually would try to get the noodle to flick my nose when I sucked it into my mouth. I loved the Bella Notte scene (especially the spaghetti kiss!), it had to have been one of the most romantic scenes I have ever seen and my favori song in this movie is He's a Tramp. Even though it was one of the reasons Lady stopped liking Tramp it's a really catchy song. This movie isn't higher on my liste because besides the He's the Tramp number I can't watch the dog pound scene. The beginning of it where we see those really sad chiens always makes me want to cry and the part where we see that dog being led to the back room to be killed makes me want to cry and it freaks me out too with the creepy musique in the background.
6. Dinosaur
Dinosaur is one of those films I watched a lot since I was a kid and will l’amour forever. I l’amour all the characters and I l’amour this movie's score, and it was nice to have a different carnivor as a villain instead of a trex. This movie isn't higher on the liste because I l’amour the other films plus and I don't really like how the plot is similar to Land Before Time
5. Land Before Time
Land Before Time is a one of a kind classic in my opinion. This movie can touch even the hearts of people who think they're too cool ou too manly to cry. Ever since I was little I have loved Land Before Time and its many sequels and I used to act out the films with my toy dinosaures and create new adventures for Littlefoot and his friends, I even let his mother live. I l’amour the score for this movie too and I l’amour the song 'If We Hold On Together', it all fits so well with the movie especially some of the scenes after Littlefoot's mother dies. Littlefoot is par far my favori character. I l’amour the others too but I just l’amour Littlefoot the most. Land Before Time isn't higher because I l’amour the other films plus and I really really REALLY do not like Cera in this movie...
4. Aladdin
Honestly it's impossible NOT to l’amour this movie. It's hilarious thanks to Genie and Iago and the songs are awesome. I remember when I was a kid I always wanted to grow up and be as beautiful as Jasmine. Genie's bits always make me laugh and I've seen this movie since birth. This movie isn't higher because I like the other films better
3. Mulan
Mulan has been and always will be my number one favori Disney princess movie. I can really relate to Mulan because we both want to please our families and we're both pretty clumsy and make mistakes and we have some really clever moments and I feel like Reflection is my theme song (check out my motto). When I was a kid I used to watch Mulan almost every jour and I used to l’amour chant the songs all the time. Even now I still l’amour to sing the songs whenever I can and I'm teaching myself to play Reflection on the piano. This movie isn't higher on the liste because I like the other films more
2. Anastasia
When I was a little girl I wanted to be Anastasia. I loved her outfits (even the boy one), Pooka, her musique box, necklace, songs, I thought she was the prettiest animated girl I had ever seen, and I thought Dimitri was really cute :P Now that I'm grown up and know what this movie is based off of I still l’amour it because it was a part of my childhood and it still touches my heart. Last summer when I watched this movie for the first time in years I was so happy that I still remembered the words to the songs, all of Bartok's funny lines ("And I kick her sir! ^_^"), and I'm still a bit jealous of Anastasia for having such beautiful dresses :P This movie isn't number one on my liste because I l’amour the other movie more.
1. The Lion King
Honestly what can I say about this movie that would seem most appropriate?...I actually think I would have to make up a word and it still wouldn't be the best word for it. I have watched this movie since birth, have listened and sung along to the songs for as long as I can remember, I can still cry after seeing Mufasa's death, and I can memorize the words to the movie par heart. This is one movie I can watch plus than two ou three times in one jour and not be bored of it. As a kid my favori character was Simba because he was the main character and I thought he was really cool but now my favori character is Nala because despite being a girl and the hero's l’amour interest she still fights when needed which is something a lot of girl characters from films before this one (and kinda after) never did so that makes her stand out. And I loved her 'Pinned ya!' bit :P I know this saying is really old but I'm saying it anyway; "Girls rule and boys drool!" Scar is one of the few animated villains that actually scares me, especially after seeing the deleted scenes to this movie and listening to 'The Madness of King Scar' from the broadway musical (which, btw is something I really dream of seeing sometime in the future :) ) because of how he made some pretty extreme advances on Nala, even cornering her in the deleted scene. Timon and Pumbaa still manage to make me laugh plus than even Genie from Aladin especially during the Hula Dance scene. They really helped me feel better after the death scene. Even though I have seen this movie so many times I'm always at the edge of my siège during the stampede scene, the part where Nala and Simba fight before recognizing each other, and the final battle at Pride Rock. And I know this is something I have already a dit with some of the other films but the score in this movie is just BEAUTIFUL and fit so well with everything in this movie! I would have loved to be in the head of the composer when he was imagining the musique and when they recorded the score for the movie. Lastly, I l’amour Simba and Nala's romance :) I know it almost seems out of no where but it makes plus sense than other romances in films like in Snow White. I still sigh all dreamy and fangirl like when I hear 'Can toi Feel the l’amour Tonight' and when I watch the scene itself. All in all this movie is just....Ladotious?.......Sure let's go with that made up word because I can't think of anything better :P
