Why did it happen?
Cameron starred unseeingly on the mirror of her bathroom. She hasn’t slept the night before, not even for a brief minute, after she reached the other side of the lit and it was empty. She sat frightened in her lit when she felt only the softness of the sheets without Chase’s body lying there as usual, until she gathered her thoughts to remember that it’s all over.
