My name is Victoria. My family came from Ireland and Scotland so long il y a it's almost silly to say we are "from there." But... when I hear Celtic Thunder, both as a group and as individual singers, I can honestly say that something very deep stirs as if the musique were already familiar to my cœur, coeur and soul. I bought the CD and DVD not knowing that it would also make a difference to my family and my students in my classes. I played the CD hoping at least one student would learn to like some other musique besides something that was screaming loudly in their ears. Well, as the voices started and the drums played and the bagpipes played... all my students stopped what they were doing in class. Whether it was homework ou some other thing they had begun, they stopped, listened and were fixated on what they heard. Make no mistake. Not only are the gentlemen in this band extraordinary singers. But the whole montrer and indeed the concept, makes us all feel like we belong somewhere else in this world. Hearts and ears have opened up and I hope toi continue to make the musique we all need to hear.
Thank toi very much. I hope the men get a chance to see this. toi need a genuine thank toi from us all. But mostly I want toi to know that for this Spanish teacher from Ohio seeing toi in person in Columbus made me certain that there is something else I need to know about my past. Ireland is certainly calling me home, too.

I first saw Celtic Thunder one evening in December. Before the show, I spent $15 for a beautiful program. At intermission, I spent $10 each for posters of Ryan and Paul. After the show, I spent $10 and $15 for a Keith poster and a group poster. Ryan now presides in pride of place over my bed, with Paul on his right and Keith on the other mur to his left. The group poster is suivant to Keith. Later, I bought the cds. Keith's lullaby voice chant "The Island", Ryan's velvet voice chant "Brothers in Arms", and all of them chant "Danny Boy" and "Steal Away" now lull me to sleep every night.
