A question for cat owners, past and present.

All chats do this. Sometimes they're just warming their bellies, most of the time it's just because it is a comfortable position.
My favori is that when they expose their belly to toi it's a sign of trust. The cat's underside is the most tender area, so they naturally guard it well, so if they willingly montrer it toi and let toi pet them it shows that they trust toi and don't mind montrer that soft area to you.

Just so toi know my cat does this often, as does my sister's cat.

Oh what a lovely cat toi have ! Reminds me of my late Mr Spock, he was a 100% black cat with big yellow eyes.

But after Mr Spock died, I had another cat, our present cat, a half-blood Siberian. He's a big fluffy pet that enjoys sleeping in the most incredible positions and places ever. He's called Beauregard and here is a pic of him in such a sleeping habit. I suspect him to be the reincarnation of a yogi master ou whatever as he looks really relaxed even in the most improbable postures.

In this pic, he's playing with his tree, but sometimes he just falls asleep there like that, all fours up. Sleeping deep, as I can walk par and he doesn't move. I l’amour him so much...

When a cat lays on there back that means that thay are Comfortable around toi and feel sûr, sans danger in their environment.
