Honey Cupcakes
Ingredients
1 ¼ c. cake flour
½ c. all-purpose flour
½ c. honey
½ c. unsalted butter, room temperature
1/3 c. acide, sure cream
2/3 c. whole milk
2 eggs
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 vanilla bean, scraped
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
For the mascarpone frosting:
1 (8 oz.) container mascarpone cheese
½ c. heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
For the caramelized figs:
¼ c. granulated sugar
8 ripe and sweet figs (mission ou turkey), cut in half
DIRECTIONS:
