"Hey, it's me. Look, I'm at the airport. I've got two tickets to Las Vegas. Do toi wanna get married tonight?"
Brooke laughs at him, thinking this is some kind of joke, but when he says nothing in return she panics a bit.
"You ARE joking, right?"
"No, Brooke, I'm not joking. I know this seems crazy, but I l’amour toi and i regret ever letting toi go. These past few months... spending time with toi & Angie, being reminded of how amazing toi are, it sparked something in me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want us to have our two boys and a girl!"
She says nothing, slowly digesting it all.
"So what do toi say pretty girl, will toi come to Vegas and marry me?"
"Are toi fucking kidding me?! What kind of idiot proposes to a girl on the damn phone?! toi infuriate me Lucas Scott! Ughhhhh!"
The only sound Lucas hears after that is the click of Brooke hanging up on him.
"Well that went real well..." He mutters to himself.
----- 2 hours later----
*knock knock knock*
Brooke opens the door and is surprised to see a bouquet of red roses at her door. She picks them up and reads the card attached. "Pretty Girl, I'm sorry i was such an idiot. Of course proposing over the phone wasn't the proper way to do it. Turn around."
"Turn around, what?" She mumbles confusedly, but slowly turns, letting out a gasp when she sees Lucas down on one knee.
"Brooke Penelope Davis, we have been through so much together. Good times and bad times, yet through it all I can always count on toi to be there for me, always supporting me when i need toi to. I once told toi that toi were going to change the world someday, and toi have... You've changed MY world, and everyday I'm thankful for that."
"Luke..."
"No, let me finish baby."
"Okay," she nods "Go ahead."
"You've become one of my best Friends Brooke, and don't they say that a great relationship is built from a great friendship? We want the same things in life, a family, living here in arbre Hill, are hearts are the same Brooke! So if you'll let me, I'd be plus than honored to spend the rest of my life loving toi and cherishing you. Will toi marry me?"
Her head is telling her, 'What if he hurts me again? What if he breaks my heart?' But her cœur, coeur knows better, knows that this isn't going to be like high school. They've both grown up, and they both have come to realize how much they truly need each other.
"Yes! Yes Lucas, i will marry you."
He gently slides the ring on to her finger, s’embrasser her hand as he does.
"I l’amour you, Brooke Davis soon to be Scott."
"I l’amour toi too, Lucas Scott."
They stood quietly embracing for a while, just letting themselves get Lost in each other. Until suddenly Brooke broke the silence.
"So what do toi say broody, toi ready to go get started on those 2 boys and a girl?!"
