'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 3 Spoilers And Cast: Jake And Amy Explore; Madeline Returns?

Jake and Amy have a lot of exploring to do when "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 returns.

According to new reports, the unlikely couple could pick up where they left off at the end of season 2. 

"Since the show will be picking up exactly where it left off, it may be a little too soon for Jake and Amy to DTR (look it up, it\'s not dirty),"

"But the season premiere will explore that very question. \'It may be a question more of how the relationship starts, or how well it starts or if it\'s going to start,\' executive producer Dan Goor says. As long as it doesn\'t start with Jake\'s Jamaican accent again, I think they\'ll be OK."

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 spoilers claim that avid viewers of the show will have their Jake and Amy fix in the premiere episode.

However, given their personalities, a full-blown romantic relationship might not happen that quick.

He added that "it\'s not smooth sailing from here on out," for Jake and Amy.  

"The first episode will not be a yank," series creator Dan Goor told Entertainment Weekly. "We know now in the premiere [that] we have to introduce a new captain and deal with Jake and Amy."

"They work together, they\'re different personalities. They kissed in a moment of trauma, and now they have to figure out what\'s happening," he added.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Goor dished on some juicy details about a new Captain and possibly, a new Gina too.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 cast will still include Jake Peralta (Andy Sambergh), Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz), Terry Jefford (Terry Crews) and Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Trugilo), but fans will also see the return of Craig Robinson (The Pontiac Bandit) and Sandra Bernhard and Stephen Root (Gina and Boyle\'s parents).

Bureau chief Madeline Wuntch, played by Kyra Sedgwick, could also return as Goor mentioned that she is "definitely in the DNA in the show at this point."
