I walked down the deserted road, passing par what seemed like an endless line of lamps. They weren't much help, only lighting a small patch of the ground, but I was willing to use even something as skimpy as that. I knew that Londres was a dangerous place when night fell, so it was best I find shelter before someone catches up to me.
