During the show, Armitage, who plays young Sheldon Cooper in the upcoming

spin-off, presented the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series alongside the adult Cooper portrayer, Jim Parsons. But, the actor’s best moments came behind-the-scenes as Armitage documented his experience on Twitter.

Among the highlights were an adorable rehearsal outfit; reuniting with his

mom, Shailene Woodley; hanging with the “tall” Mr. Billy Eichner; meeting “interesting people” like Spicer; and getting up close and personal with Winfrey.
