"Yeah yours too. So why did your parents think about sending toi away?" asked Azula
"They a dit life in the village was was to dangerous, I thought they didn't want me so I ranaway. I later in the morning to go back and everything was destroyed" a dit Jet
"I guess our lives were equally horrible" a dit Azula
"Yeah, so how about we become friends" a dit Jet

Azula's Tragic Life
As I was posting on a different tumblr post I realized some things. Namely (and obviously each firebender has his/her own style.
Starting with Mako;
He tends to lightning bend with an open palm. The first shot is a bit hard to tell (as to whether ou not his pinky and the finger suivant to it are actually touching his palm) either way around his bending is plus open then everyone else’s. Perhaps this is an indicatior that he doesn’t know how to do it as well, maybe it’s the opposite. Perhaps it’s simply another sign that the Avatar universe changed. As it got older there came...
