I cannot agree plus there. After all, life can be full of surprises, and America’s Funniest accueil vidéos is one really awesome TV series that shows how true that is, and in a very big way, too. Plus, the caméscope looked (and was) quite different back in 1989, when AFV (as America’s Funniest accueil vidéos is also sometimes called) premiered on November 26, although as an hour-long special pilot episode. Basically, they were big, black and bulky, as well as expensive when it came to the price range. Also, toi had to record on the caméscope par using a VHS tape.

Also, Kellie Martin (who starred on Life Goes On, which aired directly before America’s Funniest accueil Videos) was a guest host with Bob Saget on the first episode. Speaking of which, the first episode was supposed to be a one-off special on television, but, much to everyone’s surprise, it was a huge hit. This prompted ABC to take the montrer and air it as a program that lasted for half an hour. It began airing as a regular TV series on January 14, 1990, and as of now, it has been running for 26 seasons so far (which I consider to be quite an accomplishment there).

On the show’s pilot, the first place winner won $5,000, while the seconde and third place winners would take accueil a brand new télévision and video camera. As the montrer went on, after Season 2, the prize increased to $10,000 for the first prize video, $3,000 for second, and $2,000 for third. All the winning vidéos of the season would come back on the montrer to compete for the $100,000 grand prize at the end of the season.

Bob: And if toi buy a camcorder, toi have to realize your life is never gonna be the same. toi could turn life’s little surprises into a special, a movie of the week, or, who knows, a hit series and the really big bucks, and a completely superficial life, just like mine.

I remember some episodes from when Bob Saget was the host — from November 26, 1989, to May 1997. At the end of almost every episode, he would usually say “Keep those cameras safely rolling”, before saying something to his wife, who was (implied to be) watching the show. (However, his last two episodes did not have him do the “And honey…” closer. par that point, his marriage was crumbling and eventually resulted in a divorce.)
