Kates inner monster part 7


"Come on Kate it could be worse!" "Oh really how can my situation get
any worse than what it is Garth??" "Well at least toi have a tanière, den to go accueil to and
family and Friends who will understand everything!" "Ya everyone but my mom!"
"When she hears about this she is going to freak." "When she hears about what??" Garth
asked. "Its obvious that Lilly told her about everything par now!" "Me turning on her and
almost attacking her and me..... well not being me" " UMMM ya I'm going to have to
agree with toi on that one." "Shes not exactly the easiest one to get along with is she!"
"No....... even the smallest thing will set her off!" "Ya tell me about it, when toi and
Humphrey went missing for those couple of days the packs weren't getting along exactly
as well as they are now." "Let me tell toi when the packs came face to face at the water
fall she scared the crap out of me." "Thanks Garth is that supposed to make me feel
better?" "Sorry I guess I just wanted to prove the point." "Ok then lets talk about
something else, tell me about this monster cause I'm still really confused about it??"
Kate's eyes widen and stares at Garth trying to think on how to explain everything to
Garth! "HUH.....I wish I knew myself!" "The last things I can remember is getting
trapped, waking up in a room, and then talking to her in my dream ou it was plus of a
nightmare!" "HER!!!!!!?" "The monster...........!" "When I was asleep I came face to
face with her." "She looked just like me but she looked like she had all the good drained
from her." "She had these creepy yellow eyes, teeth that could ripe through anything,
and strength of 100 caribou!" "SOOO thats how toi broke out of the trap!" "How do
toi know about the trap??" Kate asked. "Humphrey told Lilly everything about what
happened and then she told me." " Anyway Lilly, Humphrey and I came looking for toi
we found a trap that was broken in two and it was obviously the one that caught you!!!"
"The amazing thing is that the trap was completely broken in two, which is impossible
for any animal to do considering the fact that they are made of solid steel!!" "Kate,
whatever this monster may be its dangerous and I'd try to get away from it if I were
you!" "She would be able to hurt toi in several ways, ou worse even kill you!!" Kate
stops and stares at the ground and shakes her head. "Garth, toi don't understand... I can't
get away from her!!" "HUH?? What do toi mean toi can't get away from her??" "Shes
not just any monster, shes my........ INNER MONSTER!!" Garth stands there staring at
Kate as if she had her head cut off!!! "Your inner monster!!" "So this monster is living
inside you!!!" Kate looks at Garth with a worried look on her face and nods. "Well Kate
all I can say is that I'm sure what ever the case may be your family can help. "Ya I guess
but how am I going to explain everything to my parents??" "Well I'm not sure but toi
need to think of something fast because we are in the valley." "Next stop your parents
den, OH and Kate if toi need any help I will be there for you!" Kate looks up at Garth
and smiles. "Thank toi Garth for all your help!" :)

As Kate and Garth head to Eve and Winston's den, Humphrey and Lilly are still
sitting in their cenals asking questions that still need to be answered. "Hey Lilly, what
do they think those guys want with us??" "I'm not sure Humphrey, I wish I knew!"
"Humphrey par any chance did toi hear anything that those guys were talking about?"
"No I can't say I did... I think I was still asleep, why what were they saying??" "Well the
younger looking guy hasn't done much of anything, its the older one who's done all the
talking. "He keeps on blabbering out this prized wolf??" Humphrey tips his head and
was confused. "A prized wolf..............OH WAIT A seconde toi don't think hes
talking about Kate do you??" "I don't think so, but I could be wrong." "Lilly I think we
just answered our question of why we're here!" "Think about this for a second, why
would he wolfnap us and for what???" Lilly's eyes widen, "HIS PRIZED WOLF!!"
"BINGO and it cant be coincidence that he just so happened to wolfnap two aléatoire
loups for bait!" Humphrey looks at the ground and taps his head. "But why Kate, what
would he want with Kate?" Why would she be his prized wolf??" There was a moment
of silence in the cenals. Lilly knew why they might want Kate, but she wasn't sure how
to tell Humphrey in a way that wouldn't make him worried!" "Humphrey I need to tell
toi something, before toi and Garth found me at howl mountain something happened
between me and Kate. Remember how I told Garth that Kate wasn't jouer la comédie like her self
tonight!" "YA why???" Humphrey asks. "Well she wasn't." "When I found her on haut, retour au début of

seemed heartless and filled with hatred!" "I kept on asking her questions and she stared
right at me with these yellow eyes and she turned on me, and looked as if she wanted to
hurt me,..... but she didn't!" "Wait a seconde LILLY don't toi remember the broken trap
that we found out in the woods!!" "That was the trap that she caught in, and obviously
what ever is wrong with her and why she might be jouer la comédie this must be the reason why
she broke free!" "That sounds really crazy Humphrey, but I think your right!!" "Well
Lilly what ever going is going on with Kate we need to find out some way to help her!"
"But first thing is first, we need to get the heck out of here and fast before she gets hurt!"

Kate and Garth walked up the trail on the side of the valley to get to her parents
den. Kate had beurre flies in her stomach and felt as if she was going to be ill. She had no
idea how she was going to be able to explain to them where shes been and why she went
missing. "Ok Kate let me go in first just so I can break the ice and let them know that
your here." Kate sits on the side of the tanière, den watching Garth walk in. "Eve, Winston I...."
After that all Kate heard was mumbling and her mind was haunted about how her mom
would react to the monster when she tells her about it. Then from out of the entrance of
the tanière, den Kate sees her parents running at her. "Omg Kate your ok!!!!" Eve wraps her
paws around her and gives her a big hug. "Kate toi don't know how much I missed
you, both me and your father have been worried about you!!" Winston also comes and
gives Kate a big hug and then stares at her with a serious look on his face. Kate knew
that question he was about to ask. "Now Kate where have toi been?" Kate stares at her
mom and then back at him. "Well dad its really hard to explain,..... I think we need to go
into the tanière, den so we can talk." Kate, Eve and Winston head into the tanière, den but before
Winston entered he looked at Garth and tells him "Thank toi for finder her and bringing
her home!" Garth can't do nothing but smile and then heads back into the valley to find
Lilly.

"Ok Kate, we are in the tanière, den now, so why don't toi tell us where toi have been
for the past couple nights?" "Now I'm going to warn toi guys now, there are some
things that are going to be really hard to believe." Kate begins to tell to parents about the
whole story. She tells them about her and Humphrey heading to the moon light howl, the
hunters, the trap the whole deal. It wasn't until she got to the part where she got trapped
and woke up in the room surrounded par humans did her mom become a little angry.
"Humans are again for your disappearance!!" "First they take toi to Idaho and now they
take toi to a vet room and do experiments on you!!" "Well mom I don't remember any
of that, in fact I don't remember most of that night!!" "HOW COME???" Winston askes
seriously. Kate stares at the ground and trys to figure out how to explain the monster to
her parents. "Ok toi guys are probably not going to believe me when I tell toi this but
here it goes!" Kate take in a deep breath "(Sigh) I was taken over par a monster!" To
Kate surprise her parents didn't act the way they thought they would. She was expecting
them to just laugh and tease her but instead both of them stared at each other with both
jaws dropped. "What did toi say??" Eve asked. "I was taken over par a monster mom!!"
Eve stares at Winston with a shocked look on her face. "Winston toi don't think that the
legend is true??" Winston's eyes were wide open and he starts to shake his head. "I
thought it was just a myth a legend!" Kate looks at Winston and nods her head to the
side. "What legend??" she asked. "What are toi guys not telling me??" Winston looks
back at Kate with the still shocked look on his face. "Kate, its the legend of the 100th
alpha." "The legend states that every 100th alpha born in a pack will be donné
the curse of a monster living inside them! The alpha suivant in line of this curse was Garth
but there were some delays and toi were born first making toi the 100th Alpha!" Kate
began to get really annoyed. "So this is why this is happening to me!!!!" "This is why
I'm becoming this beast!!!" "Why didn't toi guys tell me about this sooner if you've
known this whole time?" Eve steps into the conversation. "Now Kate don't get
angry.....we didn't think toi were the one who was cursed!!" "You were just like every
other pup!" "You were happy, strong spirited, and was just full of happiness." "You also
had plenty of friends!!!" "There was nothing about toi that showed any signs of toi
being cursed." "So your father and I decided that nothing was wrong with you!" Kate
looked at both of them angerly and just shook her head. "Well.........thanks for telling
guys, this has been a really stressful thing for me and I think if toi guys would have
come out and told me not when I was a pup but maybe when I became on Alpha maybe
this wouldn't be so much for me to take in!!!" "Well Kate we don't know what to say
other than we're sorry..." Then before Kate could answer Garth comes running into the
Den.

"Hey have toi guys seen Lilly??" "No the last thing we knew she was with
you!!" "Ya she was but I had to leave her alone with Humphrey when I ran to find
Kate!" "Speaking of Humphrey, have toi seen him either??" Kate asked. "No we
haven't seen him either??" "Great we find one but now we Lost two!!" "I wonder where
they could be?".............................................. "We know!!!" a dit a voice at the entrance
of the cave. Its was Humphrey's pals Salty, Mooch and Shakey. "You guys know where
they are???" Kate answers. "Well not exactly, we don't know where they are but we do
know what happened to them!" "Well me Mook, and Shakey and I were walking par the
forest entrance right when Garth ran in." "We just saw Lilly and Humphrey standing
there so we thought it would be funny if we did a loup pile on Humphrey so we hid in
some near par bushes." "Then before we jumped out we saw two guys with these pistolets
walk by!" "One was a much older guy and the other looked like he might be his son ou
something?" Kate's cœur, coeur dropped to the bottom most part of her body when she heard
what Salty said. "Ya and then suivant thing we know they shot them with these shiny
things with something red at the end!" "Then they loaded them up into a truck and drove
off, but thats all we know!!" "So toi three have no idea where these humans might have
taken my daughter and Humphrey!!" Eve a dit angerly. "No sorry we don't..." Kate
stands up and starts to walk out of the den. "YA BUT I KNOW WHO THOSE TWO
ARE AND I KNOW WHERE THEY HAVE THEM!!" "Kate how do toi know??"
Winston asked. "BECAUSE DAD THOSE WHERE THE SAME TWO GUYS THAT
TOOK ME TO THE RANGER LODGE AND THEN TRIED TO KEEP ME THERE!!"
"I can bet the Humphrey and Lilly are there as well!!!" "Wait Kate what are toi gonna
do??" Eve asked. "Mom its my fault they are in this mess, those two want me and thats
what they are going to get." "I'm going to bust those two out of there, even if it means
risking my own life!" "No Kate we aren't letting toi do this alone, its to dangerous!!"
"Thanks Garth, but I'm not going to have any of toi risk your lives because of me."
"Besides I'm not going in alone....................I have the monster on my side!"
