Northern Pack: Morning

Nars was strolling around Jasper a bit to soak in the early morning scenery. Fleet and Magril were at Alpha School again so Nars was alone.

"Hey Nars, there toi are," says a voice from a distance.

Nars turned around and saw that it was Troy.

"Oh good morning Troy, nice to see you," Nars a dit as his best friend caught up to him.

"Good morning," Troy a dit as a wicked smile formed on his face, "so how did your rendez-vous amoureux, date with Daria go?"

"Umm... it went great," Nars said, Should've known he would ask about the date.

"So did anything happen between toi two," Troy asked as he moved his eyebrows suggestively.

Nars sighed as he knew that Troy would be relentless in gaining info, "Fine, I'll tell toi what happened. I asked Daria if she wanted to howl with me and she accepted the offer."

"I think I know where this is going," Troy a dit as Nars rolled his eyes.

"Well, our howls sounded good with each other and then me and her... kissed," Nars a dit as Troy's mouth was hanging opened.

It took him awhile before Troy snapped out of his trance and spoke, "Damn Nars. toi really know how to catch some fine wolves," Troy said, "I'm guessing toi and Daria are now boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"Well, Daria and I did confess our l’amour to each other after we kissed," Nars admitted, "so it's pretty much official at this point."

"Nars, you're a real Casanova to us male wolves," Troy said.

Nars blushed immensely as he felt a little embarrassed at that moment. Not at all because he was dating Daria, but that he didn't really feel comfortable with telling others about his personal business.

"So, did toi tell Fleet ou Magril about this yet," Troy asked.

"Well, no," Nars responded.

He wasn't sure how his pups would react if they found out their father was dating again. Nars could only hope that Trixie talked to them about moving on.

"Anyways, Maya and the pups are waiting for me at our den," Troy a dit as he left the scene, "see ya later Nars."

"Bye Troy," Nars waved his friend goodbye as he continued with his walk.

Nars noticed that Troy had some similarities to Fran and Frieda gossipy personality, from what Daria told him. He then got an idea as to what he could do today.

"I'll see what Daria's doing right now," Nars said, "why am I talking to myself?"

With that, Nars walked over to the Western Pack. He wondered if Daria had told the porcupines ou any other loups about their rendez-vous amoureux, date the other night. Nars could only imagine the sound of Frieda and Fran squeeing.

"Dear God, I hope Daria and Floyd's eardrums don't break," Nars chuckled as he was now in the Western territory.

Nars was greeted par some kind loups as he journeyed to Daria's den. Once he saw it out in the distance, he dashed towards it to see his new girlfriend. When Nars got there, Daria and her porcupine Friends were talking to each other. Fran and Frieda noticed Nars at the entrance of the tanière, den as she ran towards him.

"Well it isn't Daria's boyfriend," Fran a dit in a sly tone.

"She told us all about how toi and her howled then kissed last night," Frieda added, "I can't believe Daria already found a man for herself."

"How did toi feel when your howls perfectly matched together," Frieda asked.

"Will toi two become mates," Fran asked as well.

Nars was confused par the two porcupines constant questioning. He felt like he was going to faint. The two porcupine girls continued to bombard poor Nars with their questions until Floyd convinced them to stop that Nars could collect his thoughts.

"Let's try not to ask any plus questions girls," Floyd stated as Fran and Frieda sighed in disappointment, "we don't want Daria's boyfriend to have his head blow up."

"Thanks Floyd," Nars a dit as he shook his head.

"Glad to see the girls didn't harm toi too much," Daria a dit as she walked over to Nars and nuzzled him.

Nars nuzzled Daria back as she sat down suivant to him.

"So does anyone else know about our relationship," Nars asked.

"Well considering Fran and Frieda told some of the omega she-wolves about toi two, it's sûr, sans danger to assume that words has spread fast par now," Floyd explained.

"Did toi tell anyone Nars," Daria asked in return.

"I told my best friend Troy about it," Nars answered, "and word spreads quickly in the Northern Pack, so I wouldn't be surprised if all the Northern loups knew about me and Daria."

"So do your pups know about this yet Nars," Floyd asked.

Nars was not surprised to hear that question again today. Like before with Troy, he answered that he hadn't told them yet. Fleet and Magril would probably need to get to know Daria so they could welcome her as their stepmother. At that moment, Nars had an idea on how his pups could get to know.

"Hey Daria, would toi like to sleep with me and my pups in the Northern Pack," Nars asked, "you can come with me to pick them up. toi don't have to do it if toi don't want to?"

"Oh well," Daria a dit with a hint of confusion, "may I ask why?"

"Well it's just that I want Fleet and Magril to get to know you," Nars answered, "it'll probably take time to get used to having a new mom."

"That makes sense," Floyd commented, "I mean; they don't know much about toi so this could help toi connect with Nars's pups."

"They did sound like well-behaved pups," Daria said, "sure I'll sleep with your family tonight Nars."

"Great," Nars a dit as he licked Daria's cheek.

Fast vers l'avant, vers l’avant later that afternoon, Daria a dit her goodbyes to the porcupines as she left for the Northern Pack with Nars. She was actually excited to talk to Magril and Fleet. Yes she did meet them before, however she didn't really interact with them as they played with Floyd. This time, she could finally bond with them.

After arriving in the Northern Pack, Nars took Daria to the rose field where Fleet and Magril usually went to after Alpha School ended.

"Hey dad," Magril a dit as she noticed her father.

"And hi Ms. Daria," Fleet added as he saw Daria with his dad.

"Hi there pups," Daria a dit facing in the direction the pups' scent was in.

"What are toi doing with dad," Magril asked politely.

"Well kids, she's going to sleep in our tanière, den tonight with us," Nars a dit as his pups looked a bit confused.

"Why," Fleet questioned.

Nars breathed in before he decided to tell his pups, "me and Daria have started to date."

Fleet and Magril looked at their father with surprised expressions. They never thought that he would rendez-vous amoureux, date another she-wolf after their mother's death.

"I just hope that we can get to know each other," Daria a dit in a caring tone.

"O-okay," Magril and Fleet a dit as they along with Nars and Daria went to their den.

Once the four loups got there, the pups' stomachs growled. This prompted Nars to go out and got some caribou, leaving the pups alone with Daria. There was an awkward silence between Fleet, Magril and their new stepmother until Daria decided to speak.

"So, what exactly are toi pups into," Daria curiously asked.

"Well I like to race with Claudette sometimes in the valley," Fleet answered.

"And me and Runt climb trees together," Magril continued, "I also like to play tag with my friends."

"You pups sound really athletic," Daria chuckled.

"Well, we are alphas after all," Fleet boasted.

"I can tell toi take a lot after your father," Daria said.

"Umm Ms. Daria, can we ask toi something," Magril asked.

"Well sure," Daria replied.

"When did toi start dating our dad," Fleet asked.

"Oh well me and him had our first rendez-vous amoureux, date last night," Daria answered.

"So that's why he took us to Kate and Humphrey's tanière, den that night," Magril commented.

"Our dad never dated anyone since our mom was killed," Fleet a dit as his tone became flat.

Daria knew that Magril and Fleet still harbored feelings for their mother that could never be truly shared with anyone else.

"Look, I know this is very sudden for toi pups, but I hope toi pups don't think that I'm only here as abreplacement for your mother," Daria a dit in a nurturing tone.

"I guess if our father is happy, then we should happy as well," Magril a dit making Daria smile.

A few minutes later, Nars came in with two full-grown caribou. The four loups began to eat their dinner. Nars, Fleet, and Magril could barely finish just one while Daria ate all of the other without any trouble. The pups were astonished par their future-stepmother's feat. Daria chuckled at their faces.

Once it got dark, the loups went to sleep. Nars and Daria snuggled together as Fleet and Magril joined. While they were mainly suivant to their father, but the pups moved a little bit towards Daria. They did not feel quite comfortable being pressed up suivant to her. Daria wasn't sadden as she knew it would take time for Magril and Fleet to grow close to her. In the meantime, the blind she-wolf would have to do her best to gain the affection of the pups.

And there goes Chapter 6. Anyways, I hope toi enjoyed the interaction Daria had with Nars's pups. If in any case during the story, I put in an Unfortunate Implication of sorts involving Daria bonding with Fleet and Magril, please tell me so that I can fix it. I wish to do this right since most likely a lot of the readers have dealt with having a new stepparent. And I will cya later.
