well guys, i know that i posté the video here (so don't judge me), but i decided to write down also. here are MY haut, retour au début 11 best films of 2013. and just a quick side note: just like in 2012 and 2011, i didn't see every movie that came out in 2013. so, these are the films that i did see. also, toi might notice a few changes in the list, compared to the video. it's cause i changed the places of some of the movies. so, let's get started.
#11
starting off the liste is The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. yea, even though i never read "The Hunger Games" books, i really enjoyed the first "Hunger Games" movie. now, we got "Catching Fire", that just made the franchise even better. this movie was bad ass, it was exciting, it was entertaining and Jennifer Lawrence just owns the role Catniss. i know it should've been plus higher up on the liste than #11, but salut it's still on the liste and yea, "Catching Fire" was awesome.
#10
coming in at #10, it's Disney's winning comeback with Frozen. now, to tell ya the truth, i wasn't sure if i was gonna like this movie. turns out not only did i like it, i actually loved it. "Frozen" was exciting, with some of the best animation i seen in a really long time. it had great humor, great acting, great script and the "Let It Go" musical scene was just amazing to watch.
#9
suivant in the list, we finally get the "Power Rangers" for grown ups. yeah, that's right. it's Pacific Rim. and yeah, this is the change i made. why? cause i liked "Pacific Rim" a little bit plus than "Catching Fire". but hey, they're still on the same list, so that counts. i went into this movie wanting to see one thing: huge robots vs giant monsters. guess what i got: exactly that. i had a lotta fun watching this movie. it was awesome, it brought the house down and it gave me just the thing i wanted to see. if toi haven't seen it par now, then go watch it. i promise, you'll have a hell of a time.
#8
the movie in #8 took my childhood and reminded me how much i l’amour my childhood and how i really wanna go back and see it again. Saving Mr. Banks, a really heartwarming peek of how "Marry Poppins" got adapted to the big screen. it has great actors, great moments and watching how they came up with the iconic "Marry Poppins" musique was also great. just watch "Saving Mr. Banks". it takes toi right back, it's awesome.
#7
coming in at #7, it's a movie that should've been higher up on the list, and plus films comes out after it, but it's still on the list. it's Star Trek: Into Darkness. i'm a "Star Trek" fan and l’amour Cumberbatch's movies. so, if toi mix the two of them, toi get "Star Trek: Into Darkness" which is also fantastic. Cumberbatch owns the role of Khan, i loved seeing what Kirk has to go through and this movie has great parallels with the other "Star Trek" movies. "Star Trek 1" par J.J Abrams was a great movie for moviegoers in general. and "Star Trek: Into Darkness" is a movie J.J Abrams made for the fans. i'm a "Star Trek" fan, and i loved this movie.
#6
what's #6 gonna need? 2 solid rivals and some haut, retour au début notch/bad cul, ass racing. that's why we got Rush. this has to be one of the best racing films i seen in a long time. toi got these 2 guys, who're rivals and they're racing for different reasons in their lives. Ron Howard did great tension between these 2 characters and it worked perfectly. i loved "Rush" and i was like "It's gonna be on the list". and what ya know? it is!
#5
Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, we all know these guys are Hollywood legends and they prove that with The loup of mur Street. this movie was hilarious and awesome. all the characters who're having a blast are played par amazing actors (like Leonardo DiCaprio), and also "The loup of mur Street" had the best dialogue of any other movie i saw back in 2013. it came out in Christmas, that's when i saw it and it made for a entertaining Christmas present for me. the people are maniacs, dicks ou animals, whatever the case it makes "The loup of mur Street" just awesome to watchk.
#4
now, we getting down to the last 4 films and they really hit me where i live.
and coming in #4, it's no secret. i l’amour the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "The Hobbit" was amazing and bad ass. so who says the sequel's not gonna be on the list? hey, it's on the liste and i'm really proud of it. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug was absolutely fun, it entertained the shit outta me, with non-stop bad cul, ass action scenes and Smaug has to be the greatest dragon ever put in a movie, ever! and he's voiced par Benedict Cumberbatch, there's no way toi can say that's not awesome. cause it is! "The Desolation of Smaug" is proof that Peter Jackson can still make amazing movies, as long as he ain't doing "The Lovely Bones" ou something like that. i loved this movie and i can't wait to see how "The Hobbit 3" gonna be like.
#3
this is probably gonna be the movie i'm gonna remember for years in my life. it's the decade's "Schindler's List" and it's called 12 Years a Slave. after the movie's done, toi go back accueil but toi can't stop thinking about it. it's tragic, it's effective, it's powerful and it's so amazing! if haven't seen it par now, do yourself a favor and go watch "12 Years a Slave".
#2
the same thing from 2012 happened with 2013. in #1 and #2, i just kept flipping back and forth over and over again. i was like "Alright, this is #1 and this is #2; okay, this is #2 and this is #1". and coming in at #2, we got the best sci-fi movie ever since "E.T" and it's Gravity. this is the movie that transported me into space. i saw "Gravity" when it came out in October 4, and a few weeks after that i kept thinking how much i loved "Gravity". this movie made toi feel alone, it was intense and nail biting and toi definitely feel for Sandra Bullock's characters. it's a fight for dear life, and it made me think "Is this movie from Danny Boyle ou Alfonso Cuaron?" it was awesome, i loved it. in the middle of space, it's guaranteed death up there and Sandra Bullock's like "I'm gonna fight to stay alive". it freaked the shit outta me. this is the best representation of l’espace ever made in a movie. i'm pretty sure "Gravity" gonna be the movie to win the Oscar for Best Special Effects, and that ain't nothing.
#1
this is it, guys! this is my #1 best movie of the year. this is the movie that reminded me how much i l’amour my family. it's the animated hit sequel from October of 2013: Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure! this movie just totally hit me deep inside, man and that's one of the many why i loved "Alpha and Omega 2". it re-captured the spirit of both Christmas and the first movie, a thing that most sequels screw up. i'm a die hard fan of "Alpha and Omega" and watching it being turned into a franchise, it makes me put a big smile on my face. the actors had great timing, toi swear to god you're hearing the original cast again. i loved the story of "Alpha and Omega 2", i loved the characters, i loved the comedy, i loved the heartwarming moments, i loved the awesome throw-down at the end and i loved the moral of the story. it's that no matter where toi are ou what toi get, there's nothing in this world better than your family. i loved that, "Alpha and Omega 2" nailed it perfectly! i'm really happy they're making plus sequels, and i can't wait to see them. and the point is: now that i got it on DVD and Blu-Ray, i keep watching it over and over again. "Alpha and Omega 2", fantastic job! toi hooked me and you've been my #1 of 2013 ever since August, when i first saw you.
