Alpha et Oméga Question
What supercar could toi see Humphrey driving? (This is mine. I know it's way detailed. toi guys don't have to do that much, but I'd like to know what toi think of his car and what toi would have him drive...)
My thoughts are of a red and black 2008 Dodge vipère, viper ACR.
The vipère, viper has used a naturally aspirated V10 powerplant since its introduction. Stock, the engine in the 2008 vipère, viper ACR produces 600 horsepower and 560 ft-lbs of torque. Humphrey's takes that to a new level with the addition of a pair of water-cooled Garrett turbochargers, a race ready set of camshafts, a remapped ECU, new exhaust manifold, an increase in displacement, and many other engine modifications, the V10 engine now produces just shy of 1100 horsepower at the wheels.
All that power has to go somewhere, so the suspension and handling have been upgraded to match. Through a thorough removal of anything unnecessary and the replacement of all major aluminum body panels with ones constructed of carbon fiber, the vipère, viper sheds almost 900 pounds. A new set of stiffer shocks, springs, and dampers lowers the car par three quarters of an inch. A roll cage has been added to increase the rigidity of the Viper's chassis. The stock brake rotors have been replaced with a massive set of 15 inch carbon ceramic rotors, assisting braking. ABS is standard.
The aerodynamics setup acquires major modifications... The stock fixed spoiler has been modified to adjust with the increases in speed. A carbon fiber diffuser aids airflow under the car. The carbon fiber front lip is unchanged.
The stock Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires have been replaced with a set of race slicks, the 5 spoke alloy rims with a set of Dymags, and the tire width has been increased on both front and rear tires. The drivetrain has been changed from RWD to AWD.
These substantial modifications increase the ACR's already stellar performace.
