Alice's P.O.V
Jasper and I sat down. We were sitting away from everyone else. "Alice, why didn't toi tell me?" Jasper asked. I shrugged. "It was supposed to be a surprise," I replied. He nodded. We sat in silence for several moments. I closed my eyes and tried to relax. Jasper took my hand, which was on the arm rest. This made me relax, a little. A couple boarded the plane and sat behind us.
"Hello," The man said. I opened my eyes. "Hi," I replied. Jasper looked over at me. "Who's that?" Jasper whispered. I shrugged, "I have no clue," I whispered back. The man sat in his seat, pretending that awkward moment didn't happen. I closed my eyes again. The flight attendent came par and asked if there was anything we needed. We told her, there wasn't anything we needed. She smiled and walked off.
The plane took off. Jasper released my hand and turned on the miniture television.We flew for several hours. We finally landed. Jasper and I grabbed our carry on and walked off the plane.
The weather was very cloudy, for June. We were out of the airport. Jasper took our luggage. We walked to our hotel. The hotel was just 20 minutes away on foot. When we got there, I went to the front desk.
The line wasn't very long. I was waiting for five minutes. "Hello, how may I help you?" the manager asked. "I booked a room under Alice Hale," I replied. The manager turned to the computer and looked for my name. "Okay, Suite Number 203. It is on the seconde floor," he said. I nodded. He placed the keys on the desk. I picked them up and walked back to Jasper.
"He is despicable," Jasper said, as I reached him. I turned to look at the manager. "What about him?" I asked. Jasper glared past me and at the manager. "He is crushing on you. It's disgusting," Jasper replied. I groaned in disgust.
We walked over to the elevator. Jasper pressed the button. The elevator came shortly after. We entered the elevator. I pressed the seconde floor button. The door closed and Jasper placed the luggage on the floor. The elevator ride was long and slow. The door finally opened.
I was the first out of the elevator. Jasper followed half a step behind me. We walked down the hall and found room 203. I put the key in the slot. The light turned green. I opened the room door.
I walked in and held the door for Jasper. Jasper smiled and nodded like a good southern gentleman. He placed the luggage par the bed. We glanced around the room. We walked out of the hotel room.
