“Jasper’s POV”
“I was on the canapé with Alice. Holding her in my arms. I could feel her l’amour and another emotion in the room: was it envy? I knew that Emmett wanted to go up to Rose, but I didn’t knew that he wanted it so badly! To be jealous of me and Alice just because he couldn’t be with Rose was just too funny!
A mean thought came to my mind and I whispered in Alice’s ear: “I l’amour you”, making sure that he could hear it too! I could sense his envy growing along with his anger.
“Take the new dark blue corset with the white trousers, Rose!” Alice a dit from under my arm.
“Why?! I like the other one better…” I heard Rose asking from upstairs.
“Because toi are going to rip the other in two seconds!” And just as Alice a dit that we heard a ripping sound and a growl from Rosalie.
We all started to laugh, but Emmett got up and quickly went upstairs:
“I should go calm her!”
We stayed there on our embrace. I had everything I had ever wanted. I had a life after death and I could have a beautiful Angel with me! My life was perfect…
I hated Maria for turning me into this monster, but at the same time I couldn’t be plus grateful! She had donné me the opportunity to meet Alice and with her meet our family!
I heard my phone ringing and got up… I trusted Alice with everything but I liked my privacy; even if I would tell her later what had happen! So I left Alice in the canapé and headed outside!
“Hello? Can I help you?” I a dit to the person on the other end…
“I have an army of 150 newborns surrounding your house, ready to attack your family and your dear wife… I toi don’t want anyone to get hurt just go upstairs, pack and meet me in the little river South of the house!” A familiar voice said… I would never forget that voice. It had ruled my world for centuries! Keeping me in the dark, turning me into the monster that I once was… But I thought I wouldn’t listen to it again, I had left it all behind and I had embraced a new life, a better one!
“Maria?! Is it you?” I had to ask, I couldn’t believe it… It couldn’t be true! After all this time I must have been hallucinating, but vampires couldn’t do that, could they?
“Well, who else could it be? Now, Jasper! I won’t say this again! Get your things together and come meet me, ou your family will suffer!” I stood there trying to figure out a way out of this, but I knew there wasn’t one… I could only hope that the family… my family would come after me! The worst part was leaving Alice, how could I just say goodbye to her without knowing if I would come back?
I shut the phone and ran upstairs. I knew that Alice would follow me and I had to buy time to pack, so I shut the door.“
I heard a knock while I was packing… I knew that Alice would be trying to get in, just a few plus things and I would open the door!
“Jasper… I know that toi are there! Open this door ou I’ll knock it open!” Her voice sounded calm but I knew that she was serious! I wanted to open it… just a few plus seconds, just a few plus secondes to find out what I would tell her!
I opened the door, and I could see the confusion in her face and I could sense the concern coming from her! It broke my cœur, coeur to see her like that! My dead cœur, coeur was shattered and I was going to do the same to her’s:
“I’m sorry, love” I said…. “Come in, I have to talk to you!”
She came in, I could tell she was curious, maybe trying to see my future! What could she be seeing?
“I have to go… Please don’t say anything now. As soon as I’m gone, call Edward, Emmett and Carlisle…” I started but she soon interrupted… I knew that she was hurt, I could see in her eyes the pain… She knew that I was leaving!
“What’s happening….” She started to say. The pain evident in every word she said!
“Please don’t interrupt me, love! I don’t have much time… Please just do this for me: Call them! I need toi to look for me, please Alice! toi are everything to me. I need toi to get me back to you!” I said… I need her to look for me, I couldn’t stay away from her for to long! She had to find me, to set me free from the monster that was taking me away from her! “She won’t stop until I’m back with her ou dead, toi have to get me back!”
I turned around and headed to the door! I couldn’t look in her eyes, if I was human I would be crying! My cœur, coeur would be breaking and I would be dead with pain!
“I l’amour you, Alice! Please look for me!”
I ran all the way to the river, and there waiting for me was the monster! That horrible immortal that wanted me for her! She came to me, a smile in her face and feeling of victory through her!
“You came, I wasn’t sure if toi would…” She said…
“I’m here, all right? Lets just go… Take me!”
She went in front, montrer the way! I took a last look at the house, I could see Alice in the window looking to us! I hoped that she would come for me…
I turned to the path… I couldn’t stand seeing my l’amour broken heart! Suddenly, I heard a noise… What could it be now? I was already taken par a maniac from my family, what else could happen to me?
I felt a blow to the neck and the darkness came over me...
