I understand the why people want to know. It is human nature to be curious, but I don't understand why it matters. Is it really any of our business. If we are fans we shouldn't care what he is. If he is talented, which he is, it shouldn't matter if he is a chant mule ou a handsome man. Talent is talent. I am pretty sure that he would like his personal life to stay just that, personal. I hope he is happy and that if he is having to hide who he truly is that it is worth it. I always find it sad when people feel the need to hide something about themselves. It is the 21st century we shouldn't have to hid any facet of ourselves. We have freedom of religion why can't we have freedom of sexuality. Sorry for my rant, but that is how I feel.

I agree 100%--he is gay, but that has nothing to do with him being on american idol. ou chant for that matter. He is a great guy we all l’amour him and we need to keep it that way.
I agree completely with everything toi said. As for why someone has to hide it I very much doubt that it was Adam's idea, instead I think it was AI who seems to want their contestants to be straight-laced role models, afterall its the renard network and if they are anything like their news counterpart renard News (who did a special segment of "should Adam be aloud to compete if he's supporting BAD LIFESTYLE CHOICES segment) then toi pretty much no why they did it. sadly.
that is the sad part. It isn't a Bad lifestyle choice. It is who he is. Now if he was doing something against the law ou something dangerous then I would understand. But other then that they have NO right to tell him to hide anything about himself.

All I am saying is that if toi really find that offensive that's dumb, because toi yourself is making a big deal about the question. To me it isnt much different than asking someone who they're dating. It isn't a personal question, unless the person toi are asking is regarding it as a personal question. Then I understand your response, because if he doesn't want people to know, then that is understandable. As far as I'm concerned, the person asking the question was just wondering. It isn't offensive. And if he were straight, for sure, and the question were "Who is he dating" toi wouldnt have responded with that it didnt really matter, that it was personal. No I would answer the same way. It is none of our business. I feel that person information is just that, personal. I think that if toi think a person is talented none of the other information should matter. If someone wanted this information know they would say it. I just don't think it is any of our business. We are fans, not friends. If toi asked me if I was gay ou dating anyone I would tell toi that it is none of your business. I think that we as a society are to involved in célébrités business. We should appreciate their talent, but not be so tied up in their lives. Look how far magazines will go to get information about celebrities. They are human beings so the deserve the same things that everyone else gets, privacy. That is all I am saying. I also feel that it shouldn't matter what sexuality someone is. The question should have been Who is he dating, not is he gay. I don't want to start anything, just wanted to defend myself.
Adam is a man, with an incredible gift. A gift from God. I thank him for sharing his voice with us. If God can douche his gifts and l’amour on Adam then I can say nothing plus need be said. I have never felt such rapture as I do when Adam sings. Wish I could thank him personally
I think he is. But I don't mind. There are gay people in this world. I think it is a culture. I've known a few in my lifetime, and they are wonderful people. Also, Adam is very talented
He is gay. My friend Zack (who is also gay) who has met, and is one of his biggest *theater* fans and through him I friended him on Myspace 2 years ago. Back then he was OPENLY GAY on his profile, had a boyfriend (who i'm pretty sure he is still with) and was very vocal about it in his blog.
Since auditioning for American Idol most of his 'questionable' Myspace content has been removed and blog entries erased. Whether it was Fox's idea ou his own, I have no idea but I understand why it was done.
i think he is just par looking at him (the way he dresses mostly) but that doesn't matter. and i really think that he is going to win American Idol Season 8, im rooting 4 him 2 win. he's my homeboy and allison (the red-haired girl is my homegirl. MDR i really hope he wins!! plus, on April 7 when he sang that slow song, all the judges loved it!!! EVEN SIMON, HE GAVE HIM A STANDING OVATION!!! toi ROCK, ADAM! (but the suivant jour scott, the blind guy, went home. :( awww)

As for your bi-sexual claim did toi come up with that par yourself? because I nor alot of other people never heard him say anything like that, and even if he did talk about a "girlfriend" I can assure toi it wasen't in the way your describing it (if par that I would have 20 boyfriends because I have 20 male friends).

Rock musique and being GAY are not mutually exclusive. toi can be punk/goth/preppie/ect and that should have no influence on your sexual identity. Being gay is not a fad ou a style but a personal preference this should be common knowledge.

I like his attitude towards it though,like it doesnt matter about what sexuality he is,hes still Adam. Hes amazing and guys are very lucky to have him:)
Of course he's gay!!, in this one video on youtube, he has a guy on a leash ou something like that, and I hate gay people but not Adam, he's so awesome, and yes, i don't like gay people, they are sick and they were born that way but they don't belong here, but not Adam, he can stay!

why the hate ? what people do in private is there own buisness. Did people get disgusted at Madonna and Britney snogging and lewd gestures and words and lyrics par the likes of Gaga and teen pop stars. Adam is a 28 yr old ADULT, if anyone is questioning morals- how about asking the ethics of pushing a 13yr old boy still wet behind the ears - into a life of sex 'n rock 'n roll- toi dont think he is up there chant about taking the girls to church- do toi ??
