What's your opinion about the books?

The livres are good, but they can turn boring pretty fast. But if you`re a really Vampire Diaries fan I think toi shall read them. I like the tv-show better. Many things is
changed in the books, like: Elena is blonde, the name of the town is Fell`s church, Elena has a Friend named Meredith(she`s not in the tv-series), Vicky is not Matt`s sister, Caroline is Elena`s enemy, Elena is popular
,Bonnie has red hair and Elena has no brother, but a sister named Margareth.

well, i personnally think that even though there's a LOT of differences with the montrer and original books, the livres r still pretty good. I totally loved the first 2 books, but the suivant two were borderline sci-fi in my opinion, so i didn't like the newer ones. Still relly awesome anyway :P

Better than the show, for me they officialy ruined the show. :D

the montrer is definitely better than the books. the characters have way plus dynamic on the show. they're multidimensional and actually have personalities. just my opinion :)

i read the livres first then tried the tv montrer and to my suprise they are so totaly different so i kinda stopd watchn..i thnk since u startd wit the tv montrer jus cntinue b4 u cnfus yourslf bt u cn try the livres tho,thy r gud...

I have to say I preferred the books. I l’amour both the montrer and the livres but i find the livres are slightly plus interesting. Saying that i will point out that they are quite different.

I loved the livres up until Dark Reunion. I really wish they'd ended there. I l’amour L.J. Smith's novels, but in the new livres Elena is becoming a slight Mary-Sue :/. Though I'm not going to stop lire the livres because of the main character. The supporting characters are great in the series (:. This all being said, I liked the montrer slightly more.

I definitely thought the TV montrer is better than the book in my opinion. If toi really like the relationships that happen in the series besides the main l’amour triangle of damon/stefan/elena, toi won't like the livres because they focus mainly on that l’amour triangle. the livres get boring fast, but if toi are stelena toi should consider lire the first book but i wouldn't go beyond that :)

it depends, because the t.v.show is different from the books. I would read the livres ou watch the t.v.show seperately. Form an opinion then continue. Alot of people don't like to do both, I do enjoy both, but do them seperately(Read and watch the Series.
