Alright, hello there peeps. It is I, PyroAA. Something for toi all to note: I'm not exactly the most patient ou nice person on earth, so if I seem mean ou impulsive in this little rant of mine, I apologize. Now let's déplacer on to the rant.

*WARNING: Probably contains spoilers.*

So, something I've noticed is that a lot of people don't like/despise/hate Jason Grace. And let me, as a fan of every single one of the Seven, point out as to why the reasons most of the fandom has donné towards the topic of hating Jason Grace is RIDICULOUS. I'm serious. Majority of the reasons are so freaking stupid/immature. Let me give toi a couple of examples, followed par my arguments/responses.

1. "Jason Is A Cheap Copy Of Percy"
Alright, let me tell toi people this. Jason is NOT a copy of Percy. Obviously, there is a lot of prejudice going on with the Percy fangirls/fanboys. Jason is serious. Percy is sassy/funny/sarcastic. Yes, both Jason and Percy share traits - for example, both are brave. But come on, aren't ALL Heroes SUPPOSED TO BE BRAVE? Yeah, sorry, I had to use trophée there. Annabeth, Frank, Leo and Hazel, they're all brave. Honestly, Jason is different from Percy. Rick Riordan is an amazing author, and I am very sure he loves the character of Percy Jackson very much. Do toi actually think he would make a full on cheap copy of Percy? No, he wouldn't. Obviously, all the prejudice is making toi hate Jason. Just because toi l’amour Percy doesn't mean toi can't like Jason. I absolutely adore Percy - he's my fav out of the Seven - but I like everyone else (including Octavian. Gasp! Shocker, yeah, whatever).

2. "Jason Is Too Boring"
Alright, let me get this straight out to you: Jason is not boring. He's ROMAN, what did toi expect? Yes, he is serious. But he grew up serious. He was raised around people who were serious, obviously he would pick up on those traits. Annabeth is serious, but we all l’amour her. Then why do toi hate Jason for such a ridiculous reason? PREJUDICE. That's why. Also, Jason does have a sense of humor, though I admit he doesn't montrer much of it. He does have some great jokes, for example, the "Flame On!" joke.

3. "Jason Is Arrogant/A Selfish Jerk"
Okay, so the main reason why many people think that Jason is arrogant is because he had a dit that he could have killed Percy back in Kansas, and Percy needed an ocean to kill Jason. So, let me get this straight, Jason says he can kill Percy and everyone loses their s*it. However, when Percy says he can kill Jason, it's all fine, because Percy's so perfect. YEP, prejudice, right there. Anyways, yeah, Jason is not arrogant. He is only CONFIDENT. Percy - ou mainly the other characters like Leo and Frank - don't always appear confident. But when Jason does, everybody thinks he's arrogant. Seriously? How childish can some of the people in this fandom get? Jason is a son of Jupiter and he's Roman, and he was raised in Camp Jupiter since he was two (if I'm not wrong). In Camp Jupiter, toi are not supposed to montrer weakness. Or, in other words, toi should be confident in everything toi do and always strive for excellence. This, my friends, is what Jason aims to do. So, no, he's not arrogant, he is confident. Also, how is Jason a selfish jerk? He cares about Leo, Piper and the others, of course. Did toi not see how he kept blaming himself when Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus? He didn't forgive himself, now did he? He isn't selfish - its just that when he makes one mistake, the haters keep bashing on him.

3. "Jason Is Trying To Take Percy's Place"
MDR WHAT? How is Jason trying to take Percy's place? First, when Percy becomes Praetor, nobody gives a damn that Jason was praetor. But when Jason becomes the Counselor for cabine One, everyone loses their s*it. Seriously? Jason is not trying to take Percy's place, he is just being the natural leader he is. He's a son of Jupiter, and Percy's a son of Poseidon. Of course there would be SOME jealously between these two, but that is what makes their characters and chemistry wonderful, isn't it?

4. "Jason Is A Player"
Hmm, what can I say about this? A lot, to be honest. Let me point this out: Jason never liked Reyna in a special way. She was only his good friend. He did not lure her in, also. He loved Piper, not Reyna. Just because Reyna liked him and he didn't like her back does not mean that he's a total jerk and a player. Also, a player is someone who continuously flirts with a lot of people, and switches from one girlfriend/boyfriend to another quickly. Jason isn't doing that, now is he? toi can't simply call Jason a jerk ou player for not loving Reyna when she loved him. It's not fair for either of them. Jason likes Piper, not Reyna, so stop bashing him for it.

Alright, that's really all I have. All in all, I think the main reason all comes down to prejudice. Just because toi l’amour Percy does not mean toi can't like Jason. There's always l’espace for another character, so stop letting your l’amour for Percy make toi hate Jason. I get it that some of toi genuinely don't like Jason, and have your own reasons for it, but what I HATE is when people bash Jason for these little things, and give such STUPID reasons. Remember, every single of the Seven is there for a reason. Jason's there for a reason, and he's a character there for a reason as well.

That's all I really have, I guess. Eh, I know it was long, sorry, but yeah, I just had to let it all out. It was something that was really pissing me off for a long time.

Yes! I'm pretty sure I'm the first person to give an analysis of The House of Hades! *accomplished

So, to give toi some sustenance for another year's wait, I've decided to analyze the book.

First of all, what the Hades was that ending? Literally. I'm pretty sure we all silently cried as we read it. Especially since the whole thing could've been prevented.

The most disturbing thing to me is a passage earlier in the book, on page 382. Percy is having a dream, and at the very end Gaea tells him "Enjoy Tartarus, my little pawn." Did she KNOW he was going to Tartarus? ou was it just an empty statement...

Okay, so I've decided to do a review for each of the five books, starting with of course, The Lost Hero. These are my opinions so please respect them, thank you:)

Character/Narrator Review

Jason: I didn't quite like him, but I didn't hate him either. I guess I'm plus neutral to him than anything? When I rank the seven from best to worst, he'd probably be number 6, but before I read The Mark of Athena he would be number 7.

Anyway, onto reviewing his actual character. I don't know, I kind of found him to be the most boring character in this book, and I wasn't quite as hyped lire Jason...

Ahh screw it. I'm gonna keep this short and really simple. Unlike my monstrosity articles that go on for pages and pages.

First, to kill off theories on Leo Valdez and Sammy Valdez.

1.) SAMMY VALDEZ IS NOT REINCARNATED AS LEO VALDEZ. Simple explanation as to why, because the math doesn't work out. Aye, que caramba! It doesn't! And LEO ISN'T SAMMY. GODDAMNITPEOPLE They are two totally different people. There's gonna be some huge twist over how they are related/not related. But they aren't reincarnated, and the only thing I see that might work is that Leo is Sammy's grandson. But that seems to...

Percy

As long as we're together…

They were still together, but for how long, Percy didn't know.

Percy's free hand grappled at the air, while his other hand clung to Annabeth's sweaty, pale hand, as the world around him got darker and darker, and the light above them, marking his friend's silhouettes got smaller until it was only a tiny pin point, and then it was gone.

A feeling of freefall was not a new to him. But the feeling of freefalling into Tartarus, the endless cesspool of evil, was entirely new. Percy wasn't one of those daredevils...
