Spoilers lie ahead if toi *sigh* still have not seen étoile, star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

As toi probably know, being a fan of étoile, star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens, was recently released on accueil media. For me, that means I have now seen it a shameful amount of times. A large part of my l’amour for TFA is desert-scavenger-turned-Jedi Rey. She's pretty awesome. But one question that remains largely sans réponse is this: who is Rey, and where did she come from?

After seeing TFA so many times, I am plus and plus convinced that Rey's father is none other than Luke Skywalker. For the following reasons:

1. The lightsaber that belonged to Anakin and Luke called to Rey. It seems that it would not call to someone who was not related to those two, even if that person were strong with the Force.
2. Shortly after having the vision, Rey is visited par Maz Kanata, who tells Rey that whoever Rey is waiting for on Jakku is never coming back, but there is someone who still could. Rey then whispers, "Luke". This seems to indicate that Luke is a close relative, probably her father, since Han and Leia don't ever mention having a long-lost daughter.

Now this begs the question of who Rey's mother is, donné Luke never had a l’amour interest in the original trilogy. I was not sure after seeing Force Awakens, but now I'm fairly certain that her mother is Jyn Erso, the female lead is Rogue One. I'm not 100% sure of this one other than that it seems pretty convenient donné that Rey (and marguerite, daisy Ridley) has a British Accent like Jyn Erso, portrayed par Felicity Jones, so it makes sense where Rey may have gotten her accent from. Also, why else would Disney choose to release this film right now? Perhaps to introduce a character who may be extremely important, such as Rey's mother. It just seems very coincidental.

Another question about Rey is that she seemed to have no training, and yet she could utilize the Force to defeat a highly trained, albeit injured, Kylo Ren. My theory is that she wasn't entirely untrained. If Rey is Luke's daughter, he could have been training her in the ways of the Force from the time that she was very young. She may have buried her memories of her family to cope with her circumstances when she was on Jakku, but her Force abilities may have remained strong but dormant, "awakened" again upon encountering that lightsaber.

How did she end up on Jakku? This one I'm not entirely certain about. I have several theories on this one:
1. Luke may have chosen to hide Rey on Jakku to protect her from Kylo Ren.
2. Rey's mother may have decided to hide her on Jakku, with ou without Luke's knowledge.
3. Someone from the other side, possibly Kylo Ren ou Snoke, a volé, étole Rey from her parents and, in order to prevent her from being a threat, placed her on Jakku. It could have been that Kylo Ren was ordered to dispose of her, but did not have the cœur, coeur to do so, so he instead marooned her on Jakku.

So there toi have it. A theory on Rey from someone who obviously just wants the suivant movie to be done and out right about now.

"MY PROBLEM WITH KYLO REN"

Kylo Ren has to be THE MOST overrated character I have ever seen in the étoile, star Wars saga. I am amazed par how so many fans have gone out of their way to put this guy on a pedestal. My personal disgust for this worship has nothing to do with him being portrayed as a villain. There are plenty of other villains - within the saga ou not - that I actually find interesting. My problem with Kylo Ren is that I do not find him either interesting ou well written.

I will start this article with a question. What was the reason behind Kylo Ren aka Ben Solo embracing evil? What was...

"STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI" (2017) Review

Following the success of the Disney Studios' first hit étoile, star WARS film, "STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS", I had assumed that producer-director J.J. Abrams would helm the suivant chapter in the franchise's Sequel Trilogy. I was eventually surprised to learn that Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy, hired writer-director Rian Johnson to both write and direct "EPISODE VIII".

My positive reaction to the news about Johnson being hired par Lucasfilm originated with my reaction to his 2012 film, "LOOPER". I found Johnson's 2012 film to...

Song: link

Captain Smith: Gentlemen, as of this moment, all Imperials have been pushed away from Coruscant. We've done it. This planet is now ours!
Pilots: *Cheering*
Mary: *Walks over to Smith, and hugs him* I want toi to have this. *Holding a box for the Captain* You're being promoted.
Captain Smith: *Opens the box, and sees his Major badge* Thank you.
Mary: Don't thank me, thank the General, but I would like to take toi out to dinner. *Kisses Smith*

The song fades away as the other pilots cheer. Meanwhile on Chevrelium, things were not so pleasant.

General Kar: toi have betrayed me for the last...
