Sometimes I miss the person replying in my updates panel in roleplays and I have to check back up in it manually...plus you know I have a life and things are busy and I can't really handle all the roleplays at once...You know..like exams. If it's a month or so late, maybe the person ran out of ideas on how to reply? (That's how most of my roleplays end...me being unsure how I could respond)

Tooootie If that's the case then fine. I know I didn't announce it on the wall or anything, but I'm slowing down on all roleplays and artwork for the reason I mentioned above- Exams. I was just trying to give the side of the story from someone who is currently slowing down on all replies to rolepalys :)

Tooootie ^ That too... Sometimes roleplays naturally die out too, you know? People just don't know what to say. Keeping up a forced roleplay by saying the most mundane shit tends to make it boring for both ends. I believe a fitting reply for all of these bullets is "Shit happens- deal with it"

Tooootie All those bullets you listed tak is PHYSICAL HARM. Are you SERIOUSLY comparing PHYSICAL HARM to something as minor as not replying to a roleplay?! There is a big difference between getting offended and being fucking shot in the face. In one case, the preparator owes you your life- and in the other, he owes you nothing. When I said "deal with it" I was referring to the three things he was complaining about- which are things that simply can not be helped. People live in different time zones! People have things they think should be said! People sometimes have other things to worry about/lose interest in a roleplay! Those are all symptoms of being a HUMAN BEING living in our society! While some choose to exercise their right to speak more than others- they still have every right to speak it. The right to speak is what enlightens our society- the good words and the bad words a like.

While I don't agree with how often assholes use that phrase, I do think it was a fitting reply to all three of those things. (Timezones, roleplay responses or lack there of) I was under the impression that bullet two was about people saying something about a roleplay scenario without wanting to roleplay. Not that it was unrelated. If it was unrelated then it is on them for looking like an idiot. With the people who need to stop, sometimes they don't want to be offensive? I know that you're all about not offending people, going back to Mephs example of "Ever considered that people drop threads because they don't want to roleplay with you?" Sometimes people would rather not start shit and out right say it- so they hope that the person just forgets about the whole thing. There are two sides to every story and it really goes by a case by case basis. ---------------------------- Piggy, please be specific with your comments it is really hard to understand what you are saying sometimes. When you're behind a monitor gender is something that has to be guessed. 1. People can not control the time zone they are in. 2. People can be assholes, ignore them if it really bugs you that much. 3. So what? That can happen, humans are fickle creatures.

Tooootie It's honestly a case by case basis. I for one take "I don't want to do this role play anymore" more rude then no response at all. The person who does not wish to roleplay then has a choice - with either or even both options being offensive to the recipient. It is honestly a lose/lose situation. I know she has a right to say she's upset- just as much as I have a right to say "that's kinda dumb". Welcome to life, where everything is offensive and everyone has a right to be offensive back.

I can't be bothered really explaining why, but if you want to know my reasoning behind it I suggest you go watch 'To this day' on youtube. So yeah, words hurt, yaddayaddayadda, someone not replying to a roleplay can be seen as rude, but it sure as hell doesn't hurt and shouldn't be taken seriously. That's all I had to say and I have no idea how either of you got so much out of it.
