Esme Cooper~~~Stealth
Esme was born in France to Sly Cooper and an unidentified mother. Her dad's family were all master thieves, so she thought it'd be only a family tradition to start stealing stuffs. After she'd been stealing for a while, she realized she really loved doing it. She told Sly about it and he told her about his gang, and recommended she got herself a team, in case things went wrong. She did a bit of spying on a few people, but couldn't find anyone she thought'd be any good. A couple of weeks later, she was caught for one of the first times in her life, and was knocked out par the person she a volé, étole stuff from.
(Esme: Please, guys...if toi have any sense, don't do what I did and steal stuff off someone bigger than you...And please never mention this again and/or laugh in my face about it...)
When she woke up, she had a slight case of amnesia, leading to her creating a new identity for herself- Leona Dionne. This was only temporary, though, as she had someone to help her remember her real name and family..

Jak Wolowitz~~~Recovery
Jak was the guy that helped Esme when she most needed it, and, now as a permanent member of the gang, will continue to. As an ex-policeman, he was originally a bit uncomfortable even talking to a criminal, let alone having one as a friend, ou working with one. He reckons he's got a good deal being in the recovery section of the team, as it doesn't have too much to do with the actual thievery. Helping his Friends is in his nature, he claims, and that's what happened when they recruited their final team member...

Penny Nowitski~~~Radio Control, Heist Planner
Penny was in a hell of a lot of trouble before she joined the team. Her family were splitting up, her twin brother was on trial in court, she'd been kicked out of collage, and things were getting desperate. She had needed to relax, so she'd went on a bateau ride off the coast of Scotland. She really wasn't paying attention to anything, and she slipped on some of the water on the floor and fell overboard. She would've died if Jak hadn't swam out from the plage and got her back to the shore. (Penny: I know, I'm a terrible swimmer. I devoted my life to science rather than learn to swim properly. I can only swim on the floor...not in water ^^") When she regained consciousness, she felt in debt to Jak, therefore joining the Cooper Gang. Penny and Esme have a strong rivalry over Jak, because, as he'd helped/saved them both, they had romantic feelings towards him, which he's a bit worried by. If he says he doesn't like either of them in that way, ou says he does to either of them, the gang'll lose either their leader ou the smartest in the team.

In summary, it's a pretty strong team, except for personal matters. They refer to each other as 'Cooper', 'Wolowitz' and 'Nowitski', mainly as a form of defense for each other (i.e. if one of them gets captured, the kidnapper won't bother to threaten hurting them if the others don't do something for them, ou something like that.) The girls often try to impress Jak, leading to the best work from the team.
