It was a dark, yet starry night on Mobius. There were white and light blue fleurs all over the place, and there was a beauty to the world. toi could barely think that one day, all this beauty and life would have to end...
It was 1:15 on a Saturday morning. There was a orange-red light coming from a window in Gwendoline Prower's base. An evil two tailed renarde, vixen was working on something important. It was already so dangerous it could kill all the people on the planet. Gwendoline was determined to get it to its full power. Her ears pricked up as she heard a whispering coming from the entrance of the base. She decided it was just Elizabeth ou Satara talking in their sleep as they thought to stop snoring. She guessed wrong.
"Are toi gonna be ok?" Gwendoline's good version asked her teammate.
"Relax, Amber, I'll be fine! And anyway, what's the worst that can happen? I'm already dead, and anyway, that stuck up snob's scared of ghosts!" Her younger sister grinned, although she couldn't help being scared. This was her first mission she had been on in the cause of The Dragon Rebels, and it was a bit scary being in Gwendoline's base anyway, even with Amber being there with her.
"Ok, remember what Beanie told us. Grab the Humanicizer and the Adulticizer, and get out of here. Piece of cake, right?" the ghost-fox said.
"Right." Amber confirmed.
Gwen hid behind a mur near the lab, where the pistolets were. She tried not to bump into the bunk beds where the henchwomen, as Gwendoline called them, slept. There were two, one on both sides of the room, Elizabeth and Satara on one of them, and a spare. The bottom bunk of the spare used to belong to Kylie, a new member of the Dragon Rebels, but it now technically belonged to Zellic, and Noir slept on the haut, retour au début bunk. The room looked like the inside of an Anderson bomb shelter that they had during a war they had on Earth a long time ago, but toi would get the feeling it wasn't a nice place to living, especially if toi didn't get on with the people that toi had to live with.
Amber had donné her sister a job that was supposed to make her feel important, and she would raise the alarm to her if Gwendoline came through, ou their hopeless sister ou the 'underestimated' red hedgehog woke up. Gwen's doing well, for a first timer! Probably better than I did when I joined! Amber thought to herself, and she smiled. She knew she was supposed to look out for her sister, but there was something about the room with the light on that made her curious.
"Gwen!" Amber whispered as loudly as she could.
Gwen turned her head to look at her older sister.
"I'm gonna look in the room over there, d'you thing you'll be ok?"
Gwen nodded. "But what if they come?"
"You'll be fine. Gwendoline's henchwomen are as hopeless as she is, and you're a ghost, sis." She put her thumb up at her sister. "And anyway, if anything happens, I'll be over as fast as possible and we'll go!"
Amber tiptoed through the sleeping quarters that the girls were staying in, and hid behind the mur at the far end of the room. Damn it, Gwendoline's in there. she thought to herself. She took a coin she had hidden in her scrunchie that she was gonna use to buy fleurs as a present for Jenna-Su and her cousin, Bluebell. If it's something serious Gwendoline's working on, it'll be worth it...and anyway, I'll get to get a fraction of my own back on Liz. She thought. She threw the coin at Elizabeth's head, and ducked behind the bunk bed.
Elizabeth woke with a start, and almost fell off the haut, retour au début of the bed. She was a terrible morning person, especially at one in the morning. Amber couldn't help grinning at her lit hair, which today was frizzy and all over the place. Elizabeth looked furious, and she was certain Gwendoline was the only person still awake in the base. She jumped down off her lit and ran through to the room Gwendoline was working in.
"WHAT DID toi THAT FOR?!" Elizabeth raged.
Gwendoline looked at her as if she was stupid, which she always did to her henchwomen. "Do what?"
Elizabeth was outraged at her boss. She held up the penny. "YOU THREW THIS AT MY HEAD WHEN I WAS ASLEEP!!!"
Gwendoline took the coin from her hand and put it in a pocket in her dress. "Free money, thanks!"
As Elizabeth dragged Gwendoline out into the hall right suivant to where Amber was to beat her up, Amber got ready to run past them so they couldn't see her. That was the plan anyway. She looked behind her. Gwen was carrying the two pistolets that they had come to steal. Technically, they could go. Amber pointed to the door. Gwen nodded and went out the base.
Amber looked at the arguing vixens. They were too busy with their argument to even look away from each other for one moment. Amber sneaked past them, quick enough to make sure they couldn't see her, but slow enough to make sure she couldn't make a noise that would make them turn around. She tiptoed into the room. There was a table, tableau with a orange-red light bulb hanging above it from the ceiling. She nervously looked at what was on the table. There were several blueprints and what looked like a weapon in progress.
She pushed the weapon out of the way and looked at what Gwendoline was planning. There was a design for a huge, deadly robot...but it looked plus like one that Egghead would build instead of Gwendoline. She looked at the other plans. There was one that looked particularly interesting. A giant ray...from the looks of the mechanics, it was the most dangerous weapon known to Mobius, and it was obvious that Gwendoline wouldn't use them for good.
She rolled up the blueprints and saw that the argument between Gwendoline and Elizabeth had simmered down a lot.
"Well, if it wasn't toi ou lazybones, who was it? Noir? Nah, she's not here...." Elizabeth inquired.
Gwendoline face-palmed herself.
"It must of been those stupid field agents from The Dragon Rebels!" She looked a bit plus evil than she already did. "Maybe they're still here. I've been a bit bored without a bit of kidnapping and torture!"
Amber looked a bit scared. She'd been kidnapped par them before, but that wasn't on a mission for The Dragon Rebels. If she got kidnapped now, it could end up putting mobians at risk. Gwendoline walked back into the room, looked up...and saw Amber. Amber grinned, scared and waved at her. She tried to run from the room, but Gwendoline grabbed her arm.
"Let go!" Amber cried.
"ELIZABETH! WAKE UP SATARA! I'VE FOUND HER!" she shouted to the girls.
Elizabeth screamed. "The guns...They're gone! She must have stolen them!" She shoved Satara out of the bed. "GET UP!" She screamed in her ear. Satara looked angry at her team member. They ran over to the room to capture Amber.
Gwen was looking through the window. She sighed as she saw her sister trying to fight off the villains.
"And you're supposed to be leading par example?" She smirked as she ran through the mur to help her. Gwendoline saw her and turned white as a sheet. Gwen grinned. "Hi!"
Gwendoline screamed! "GIRLS....WE'VE GOT A BIGGER PROBLEM!!!" Satara and Elizabeth screamed.
"CALL GHOSTBUSTERS!!" Satara yelled, with a slight hint of sarcasm.
Gwen yawned. As fun as it was to hear the villains scream, it did get boring, and if she could get earache, she'd have it. She gestured to the exit of the base, and Amber ran to it. As Amber ran out, she waved to the panicking villains, and wafted back through the wall.
Amber ran to an area far enough away from Gwendoline's base. As she arrived there, Gwen appeared out of thin air. She shuddered.
"I am not doing THAT again anytime soon!" Gwen looked at her sister and added. "I mean walking through walls, not helping you, Amber."
Amber smiled "I know toi did. Thanks. Got the guns?"
Gwen nodded. "Got the blueprints toi found?"
Amber nodded. "I think we should tell Beanie what we found...later. It's only half one." She grinned at her little sister. "Great job there, Gwen! toi came to get what we needed to do, AND we found out the details of Gwendoline's newest plan." She tried to ruffle her hair, but her hand went through and she looked a bit apologetic. "You're gonna be a valuable member of the team, especially since they're scared of you."
The Dragon Rebels met up later that jour at their base. It was a bit plus secretive than Gwendoline's base, where almost everyone knew the location of. The members didn't just do spying. It was also a kind of youth club. Denholm, KB and Meg were doing a bit of a karaoke before it was a dit that they had acquired the blueprints to a new plan. Then they did an entire concert. Until they found out what the blueprints were for.
"It good toi found these, guys. Beanie will need to see them...who found them again?" KB asked.
"Gwen did." Amber lied and then added. "She's really good at being a field agent, and we found out a phobia that all the villains share! They've all got spectrophobia...they're all scared of ghosts!" None of the members could help laughing at that. Beanie came into the base looking serious for once. They all stopped laughing. He took off his beanie hat, which was something he loved and always wore. Without it, he was just Luke. And Luke was a whole lot plus serious than Beanie was.
"The senior dragons and I have over looked the blueprints. The weapon Gwendoline's making is capable of destroying the whole of Mobius. The thing is...the design looks like one that Egghead would make. We came up with the horrible idea that Gwendoline and Dr.Eggman are working together to destroy the planet. They are thought to be taking refuge on Earth after they destroy the rest of us."
Kitty Bling put up her hand. "Um...question. Didn't Eggface go to Earth before? And he tried to make that part of the Eggman empire? The humans know he's bad. Why would they let him stay there?"
Luke shrugged. "I guess he's just stupid. ou Gwendoline wants to kill him off too. That's the most likely one."
"Is everyone gonna die? Because I can't really die twice...as far as I know." Gwen said.
"I'm sorry, Gwen. Even if toi did...'Survive', toi drift around in endless l’espace for centuries. Maybe even millenia-"
"No-one's gonna die. We're gonna do something about it!" Jenna-Su interrupted.
Luke looked blank. "How? We couldn't do it alone, Jenna."
"We don't have to. We could get help from the rest of the mobians, right?" She answered.
Luke put his beanie back on. "That's right! Anyone got any sort of way of communicating with anyone else? Meg, have toi still got an access to speak with any of the Zubos?"
Meg nodded. "I'll call Whoosh, Green, Shimmer and Columbus as soon as possible, Beanie!"
"I could get the Seedrians to help too" lilas a dit quietly.
"Someone get Doctor Who over here too! If there's ever a time he needs to be here, now's the time!" One of the members called out.
Beanie looked a bit sad. "What's wrong, hun?" Cleo asked.
He looked at her. "I would have liked Chill helping me, but he wouldn't..."
"So sure, bro?" Someone a dit from the door. Beanie looked around. The neutral and...the evil team as well, actually, were there.
Satara walked over to him. "Believe me, this is a one time thing. Apparently, our boss isn't taking us out of this dump."
Beanie nodded. "I'm not gonna do this again either. I wouldn't really want toi helping in the first place, Satara, but I guess desperate times call for desperate measures."
