I loved this song as Giselle asks Robert how does he know that Nancy loves him and she bursts out in song That’s how toi Know. Robert thinks she’s losing it and she’s all lovey doupy when she sings it in the park. Part of it was like watching The Sound of musique with Julie Andrews(hmm maybe it’s taking the mickey out of that film who knows LOL) as Giselle runs up to the haut, retour au début of the mountain like colline and her arms are swinging as she sings the song. Ever wonder what it would be like if your favourite Disney princess got a taste of our world for the first time and have a Snow White/Sleeping Beauty/Cinderella plot added to the plot well that is what Il était une fois does a romantic/fantasy/musical/comedy combining 2D animation & live Action. The story kicks off in old school Disney animation where a cartoon princess named Giselle(Amy Adams)is banished par an evil Queen to modern jour New York City in human form(still Adams as she is coming out of a manhole in Times Square) and she meets and falls in l’amour with a handsome Attorney named Robert...

One of my favourite scenes from Il était une fois I loved this part of the film because we see a new side to Robert who starts off in the movie as a boring,cynical,pessimistic divorce attorney who thinks that fairytales are unrealistic and that l’amour doesn’t exist at all.
