If the characters are bad it's hard to like a film. Films need good characters to be interesting. Films should always have characters that are likeable, fun, charming, and cool. Also it's important to not have too many characters. If toi have too many characters films become too hard to follow. It's good to have likeable Heroes and fun villains. It's hard to give examples, because pretty much every good film has good characters.

Every film that's a masterpiece has a great plot. If the plot is boring then it's easy for the film to be boring. The plots are what the films are about. Films can be poor quality if they have a poor plot. Plots are the most important part of masterpieces.
