Artist's illustration of the Jersey Devil, based on eyewitness reports.
The Jersey Devil is a dit to be a made-up creature, par scientists and sketics everywhere. And it is just made up...isn't it?
Perhaps not. Most reports, unlike many that turned out be fake, follow the same lines: claiming the Devil is a kangaroo-like creature with cloven hooves, bat wings, the head of a goat, and a forked tail. It is a dit to be fast, and it's attack call sounds like that of a tortured horse; bloodcurdling and horrible.
There are many sightings involving this mysterious cryptid. One example is the sighting claim of Joseph Bonaparte, who claimed to have seen the Jersey Devil while hunting on his estate, around 1820. Not long after, there were dead livestock claims, and a an after that, plus dead cattle and horses, with reports of screams.
The Jersey Devil kept people from going to work around the time the sightings were most active. They stayed in their homes, terrifyed of what would happen if they left ou let their children go to school.
Some people think the Devil is the spawn of Satan, ou even Satan himself. Is it, ou is it just a product of overactive imaginations?
That, my friend, is for toi to decide.

1. Women can be crime fighters.

During the 1960s women were still not treated with proper respect. Thankfully the show's wonderful creator, William Dozier, helped things out par adding a female crime fighter to the show's third season: Batgirl. A lot of the show's female characters were easily tricked sidekicks to the male bad guys. The female sidekicks were a parody of what unfair men thought of women back in the past. Batgirl came along in the show's third...
