Basically all the countries are the characters and everyone's stereotyped and it's hilarious. And most of them are guys. And there are gay undertones that are actually pretty obvious. The end.

It's not porn, don't worry. That's called hentai. Hetalia is much different. And please don't mix up the two. We've had that issue before.

It's an animé series about anthropomorphic (Google it) forms of the world countries in the era of World War II. (And a good majority of them are bishounen [Google it] guys~ ^w^)
It puts a hilarious spin on history. Prepare to begin laughing out loud in social studies.
It's also a rather addictive series. Seriously. Once toi get hooked... well, let's just say toi might find yourself laughing at flags.
