Crisps dang it!

I'm British, and chips are made of potato, but you guys'd call 'em fries, even though they're fatter and more potato-y than fries.

So yeah, they're crisps to me.

We can't help it J, we're all messed up over here.

Speaking of which, do Brits mostly do vinegar for the chips/fries condiment? Or do you do the ketchup/catsup like us Yanks?

But thank goodness we don't eat that marmite stuff. Marmite, vegemite, yeastmite. Whatever you call it, nature did not intend it for human consumption! ;-)

Oooh. I love Marmite. Marmite & Peanut Butter sandwiches, and Marmite on toast. Lovely.

Typically, when buying chips from a chippy, it's salt and vinegar for most Brits.

I usually just stick with salt and a bit of sauce though.

Damn, I'm hungry now. *eats Marmite on toast*

Blech! Ranch on crisps? Maybe Pringles/Lays (I think they're called Lays for US) not Walkers or anything though.

I meant ranch on fries/chips/frites. But maybe I'll try em on crisps.

PkmnTrainerJ, you heard of "poutine"? It's a Canadian thing. French fries (chips) with cheese curds and brown gravy. Mmm mmm mmm. Crazy but good.
