Ash and Misty recognized him while Brock didn't recognize him. "The reason i asked toi three to come with me is because at the foot of this mountain, a band of Diglett thieves gather around at night and it'll be us to stop them. We're going to need to use as many Pokemon as possible to dig tunnels to get up the mountain as fast as possible. replied poncho "We'll need to work fast then before night fall so we'll be ready for them when they come. replied Brock "Exactly. We'll need Pokemon of all sizes to help out with this operation. replied poncho "We'll help with our two Sandslash. replied Sue and Rita at the same time, sending their Sandslash out. "Excellent. That's a start. I'll use my Dugtrio and Diglett to help dig tunnels. replied poncho "What have toi three got that can be of help to this plan? asked poncho "I got my Onix. answered Brock "Excellent. Your Onix should be useful in digging wide tunnels. replied poncho "I'll use my Totodile to use Water Gun to soften the mountain tunnels. replied Ash "I'll use my Staryu help Totodile out. replied Misty "Good. Then let's get started. replied poncho All of a sudden, Team Rocket showed up, eager to help out too. "I think we'd be of use to this plan too. I can use Arbok to dig tunnels. replied Jessie "Well i don't know if i can make an exception. replied poncho "Pretty please? asked Jessie "Fine. I'll allow toi three to take part in this plan. (Nightfall) Nightfall finally came and Totodile, Sandslash, Diglett, Dugtrio, Arbok, Onix, and Staryu were not making much progress. Use your Water Gun to soften the mountain soil to make it easier for Sandslash to dig. replied Ash "You too Staryu! replied Misty Both Totodile and Staryu aimed their Water Gun right where both Sue and Rita's Sandslash were digging. After having the mountain soil softened, it was now easier for both of their Sandslash to dig a tunnel. After both Sandslash made it to the haut, retour au début of the mountain, it was now Onix, Arbok, Diglett, and Dugtrio's turn to dig a wide tunnel leading up to the mountain. After Dugtrio, Diglett, Arbok, and Onix made it up to the mountain, Totodile and Staryu made it up to the mountain, followed par Ash and Pikachu, Brock, Misty and Togepi, Jessie, James, Meowth, Poncho, Sue, and Rita, who regrouped with their Pokemon and returned them to their Pokeballs. After returning their Pokemon to their pokeballs, they decided their order of business was to find what the Diglett thieves were up to. (With Poncho, Brock, Jessie, James, Sue, Rita, Ash, Misty, Meowth, Pikachu, and Togepi) "I've seen all the places in Johto the Diglett thieves tend to hang out besides here. If they head to Dark Cave, we could be too late in stalling them out. So we'll need to act fast. replied poncho "Right. And that's where Geodude will come in handy. replied Brock "I think Totodile could be of use to this plan too. replied Ash "I guess we'll use our Sandslash again to help out Geodude and Totodile. replied Sue and Rita "I'll use my Politoed again to help Sandslash, Geodude, and Totodile out. replied Misty "I guess i have no other option than to use Arbok again. replied Jessie Wobbuffet popped out of its Pokeball, excepting itself to be of use to the plan, which as usual got returned to its Pokeball par Jessie. After deciding on which Pokemon to use for the tunnel dig operation, everyone got to work with having their Pokemon dig tunnels. "Diglett. Dugtrio. Help Totodile, Sandslash, Staryu, Arbok, and Geodude out. replied poncho "Totodile! Staryu! Use your Water Gun! replied Misty and Ash at the same time With the mountain soil now softened par the Water Gun attacks from Totodile and Politoed, it was now easier for Sandslash and Geodude to dig their way through. "Arbok! Don't just stand there! Help Sandslash and Geodude out! replied Jessie Arbok stopped watching Geodude and Sandslash and made itself useful par burrowing an opening in the mountain to make things go quicker. Once they broke through as much of the tunnel as they could, everyone could now walk through the tunnel and keep a close eye on their Pokemon. "We're going to need to shed some light on this situation and a Pokemon strong enough to knock some of the rock mur away. replied Ash, sending out Cyndaquil and Bulbasaur "Bulbasaur! Use your Tackle attack on the solid rock wall! replied Ash Bulbasaur ran towards the rock mur and knocked a good chunk of the mur out. "Arbok! Help Bulbasaur out! Use your Tackle attack too! replied Jessie "Good. But now i think Cyndaquil should try its Flamethrower attack on the wall. suggested Ash "That's not a bad idea. replied Jessie Cyndaquil launched a Flamethrower attack at the solid dirt mur softening it as it ran ahead every few feet. "Good now we're getting somewhere. Cyndaquil's Flamethrower is working to soften the wall. replied Ash "Totodile! Aim your Water Gun straight at the wall! replied Ash To make things go quicker, various wild Pokemon in the cave like Graveler, Rhyhorn, Cubone, Poliwag, Quagsire, and Marill pitched in to help
