Hi, everyone. Antonia here, and today, I am sharing some exciting news! My seconde Gerberian Shepsky, Joplin is no longer a little pup. She is one an old.
That's right. Joplin turned one today (November 12). It seems like just yesterday when I brought her home. She was just an eight-week-old puppy. She is now a young adult. Basically, she's a teenager. Joplin was a bit of a handful when she was younger. She's still a handful to an extent, but she is calmer than she was when I first got her.
Joplin still gets into things, but not like she used to. She still gnaws on things, but she's much plus gentle now. When she was little, if toi gave her a squeaky toy, she would destroy it within thirty minutes. Now, they actually last a long time. She has one squeaky toy that she carries around a lot. She also sometimes takes Roscoe's toys to tease him. Thankfully, it doesn't bother him. He lets her do what she wants, within reason. If she gets too much, he will put her in her place.
In spite of all the mischief, Joplin has brought a lot of joy. We were all sad when we Lost River so suddenly. After we got Joplin, we started feeling better. Roscoe even started eating better, and he became active again. All in all, Joplin is a really sweet dog. She's very loving, and she loves to snuggle. She has even stopped Roscoe from playing dead when he doesn't want to come inside. She'll lick him until he gets up, and she'll make him come inside.
Happy Birthday, Joplin! I l’amour you.

When Jane's birthday arrived, she got everything she had hoped to get. Her favori gift was a guitar. Her father said, "I know toi always wanted one. I could tell it when you'd play the guitars in musique stores." She said, "It's so amazing! Thank you!" After playing on her guitare for a while, Jane a dit to herself, "I enjoyed playing the guitars at musique stores. It's great that I finally have one of my own." Just then, her mother said, "We have one plus present for you." Jane said, "Really?! What is it?!" Just then, a Siberian Husky chiot ran up to her. Jane said, "Wow! I always wanted a Husky!" Her mother said, "We saw her at the shelter, and we knew she'd be a perfect fit for you. Her name is Shiloh." Jane said, "Like the first Husky they had on Gone to the Snow Dogs!" Of course, Jane's puppy, Shiloh, had a different manteau color, red and white. As she went to lit that night, Jane was confident about starting at her new school the suivant day.

Paul's Special Friend
I first met Erin through Allie. From the sad look in her eyes, I knew that Erin needed a friend. As we got to know each other, she opened up about losing her best friend, Barry. She said, "My poor excuse of a grandfather shot Barry. I offered to get help for him, but he wouldn't let me leave him. I guess he didn't want to die alone." I hugged her and said, "I'm sorry. I know what pain you're going through. I Lost my best friend, too. For the longest time, I blamed myself, because Alice and I were playing in the river. It was my insistence. I miss her sometimes, but I'm okay." Erin and I became really close as time passed. She was even passionate about musique like I was. There was once when we got into a big argument, but our friendship was stronger, and we've remained best Friends ever since. One day, when we were in high school, we put our heads together, and we decided to start a band. Of course, the challenge was finding other members.

It was summer, and I was back at accueil helping my parents with the farm. The summer was really fun, and I really enjoyed it. Hillel and I kept in touch throughout the summer. One day, when we talked over the phone, I said, "My parents a dit it was okay with them. I wanted to ask toi if toi would like to share an apartment with me this year. I don't want to go through another bad roommate experience." He said, "I'd l’amour to! I'll go ask my parents if it's okay." There was silence for a long time. After a long time of silence, I heard Hillel's voice again. He said, "I'm back. They a dit that since it was okay with your parents, it was okay with them." I said, "That's great." Toward the end of the summer, we moved into our apartment. I was glad that I didn't have to put up with a roommate listening to rap musique and refusing to turn it down. I later learned that Hillel was a very valuable roommate. I never knew that one day, he would end up saving my life.
